    * Fraps

    * Warcraft III

    * VideoPad Video Editor

    * Windows Movie Maker

      (Optional)

    * Replay Seeker (optional)

 

Do you want your Warcraft III videos without the game interface? I have found a way for that. This is a step-by-step tutorial on how to make a simple Warcraft III video without the game interface.

 

  1. Open Warcraft III

  2. Play in LAN or Single Player

  3. Record you're playing or your replay with Fraps.

  4. Open VideoPad Video Editor

      (download it if you don't have one)

  5. Click on "Still image" (it is on the top, don't click on the downward-pointing arrow next to the "Still image" picture)

  6. Open your recorded clip

  7. Click on it

  8. Go to Edit->Video->Adjust Effects...

  9. Tick on Crop Image, then click on these words themselves

  10. Crop your clip to the following specs:

 

    * Down: Just one pixel up the northernmost extent of the minimap border

    * Up: Just one pixel down the southernmost extent of the lowermost hero icon on the top-left corner or the southernmost extent of the timer window (no leaderboard or multiboard, if you've one or no heroes) (these are recommended)

    9. Continue making the rest of your video.

    10. Using VideoPad, save your video in MP4 format, with a resolution of 640x480, applying H.264 codec for video and MP3 codec, and a sampling rate of 44.1 kHz with 2 stereo channels for audio for optimized results when you upload your video to YouTube.

    11. When you're done, upload your finished work to YouTube (you must have your own Youtube account to do this).

 

    There you go! You have a video with hidden WC3 game interface, uploaded to YouTube! Share your video to your friends!
