Hello !

 

Do you whant to have your own radio ? Then READ !!!

This Topic will teach you how to create your own online radio so your friends can listen your tracks.

 

Ok Lets START.

 

Step: 1 - Download Ice Cast From Here And Install It.

 

Step: 2 - Run it from the icon. It should look like this

now go to Configuration ---> Edit Configuration

 

And change the text like this

change: the password that you whant !

 

        <source-password>hackme</source-password>

        <relay-password>hackme</relay-password>

        <admin-user>admin</admin-user>

        <admin-password>hackme</admin-password>

 

Save and Press "Start Server" if you are doing all right it must look like this

Step: 3 - Download Ed Cast (plugin for winamp ! ) from Here and install it.

Then run your winamp and do this:

when you press on edcast DSP v3 a newe window will aperar ! Like this:

press > "Add Encoder" then new window will apear like this one:

Reamke all like the picture !!!

edit only where is "Encoder Password" with the password from Ice Cast program.

when you do this press OK

 

after this on the old window "edcast" press connect.

 

if you are doing all like the guide it should look like this:

NOTE: You Can't Listen Your Radio !!!

 

If You whant to be shure it works tell to your friend to try listen.

 

Open Winamp Go to PlayList Press Add then URL and paste the URL like this

 

http://whatismyip:8000/stream.ogg wait to connect and enjoy it  ;D

yes shoutcast are better but this are easier...

What did you mean with +1 ??? my karma is steel 0 :D

he mean what your guide are good not +1 karma ;P (only mods/platium/gold members can give karma...)

I am curious, is this radio only supporting Musical Radio or also has the feature to speak through it?

very usefull i will try and me to make my own radio station and i will advertise every 10min the site of the forum
