basically no. if you mod the client i mean u use patch yes it is...

 

if you have hosts file

and an l2j server , then i dont think its illegal. or it is? im not sure. i think it is cause u use l2auth and its illegal. NOTE: for the last one im not sure. IM Sure For The Client Side .

Its not illegal but there are 2 things that can make some problem

 

1st client moddingg illegal so be aware

 

2nd host your server in Europe in USA its not safe

So if i have a server. What actions nc soft can take ?

To tell the actual truth cause a friend is scared ! is it possible to get pm form FBI via msn Oo i think not but a friend that have a server get one Oo Does he need to worry ? cause he is worrying (the msn was mplamplampla@fbi.gov) (mplamplampla was example)

NCsoft dont make nothing until you dont modd the client dont use stolen off files and the law is in your side(like i said host in Europe not in USA)

well about the msn fbi , yes its possible. it has been done to many ppl. it was done to a close mate of mine , before some years. when we had l2thunder. its possible. they've sent an email to our company and they closed the server. ( f@ckers ) :/

 

whatever. as u've seen ownage , cursedworld and others have already been closed because of that. so for ur security , not for the server's , u should think about it seriously
