[Help] Errors when adding patches

Hi all I am using this server pack http://forum.ragezone.com/f323/ekoice-gracia-part2-custom-pack-527153/index5.html and I want to add atleast 1 of the following. Capture the flag, deathmatch, very important person, or a raid engine. All I have tried do not work, I have compiled my sources successfully but when I try to add patches to my sources they never work and it causes errors.

To apply it i have to go through each line and add or remove it according to the + or -? I read the "how to apply patches" wiki but these patches seem to work fine for other people and none work for me. Any ideas on whats wrong?

EDIT: I just tried different sources (latest l2jfree rev) and i still get

The patch you are applying has segments that did not match. Are you sure you want to apply it?

What am I doing wrong? :(
