[Guide,Share]Abyss Web Server Client(Instead of Apache,for windows)

I was so boored so i want to present to the peaoples who are using Windows XP Abyss Web Server Client for thier web(if you dont want to use some like freehostia you can use no-ip is better :D ).This is like apache but it have been maded specialy for Windows.Apache is made for Linux system.The server client is a freeware and can be used from everyone! :)

Setting up Home Page with Abyss Server Web Client!!! Any questions can be asked... i will try to answer you ;)

 

1.Step::

For first you are going to need Hoster. :) You can use your page even without hoster...just type in browser http://[YOUR IP]:80 and you will see your Abyss Web server page index ;) .I suggest to use www.no-ip.com :) they have many free web domains and they are good ;)

 

2.Step::

Now you have found a web hoster like (for example:no-ip.com) you will need all files from you Web in one folder :) .To make a web use dreamweaver or default and easyest FronPage! Can be found in Windows XP Office Pack.

 

3.Step::

Now at last the server web client installer :) . Download them from HERE

and Install them in their default directory!!! (The directory that is setted for default)

 

4.Step::

You will be on this screen when you start it(look it to see what to do) --->

Now you have registered now when you open the console web index you will need to type everytime your admin username and password in order to access the server!

 

5.Step::

Copy all files from your Web and paste them to this default link ---> C:\Program Files\Abyss Web Server\htdocs (the home page fle MUST be named like that index.htm or index.html)

 

6.Step::

Open your windows firewall settings and open the port 80!!! (Right click on the LAN card icon and Change Windows FireWall settings and the go to Exceptions and add Port 80 as UDP and TCP)

 

7.Step::

If you didnt still registered your Web on www.no-ip.com or other hoster like this one you can just type http://[YOUR IP]:80 in your browser :) like your servers IP adress http://127.0.0.1:9999

 

*Warning*:80 Is default port it can be some other like 8765 ot 1234 or 5467 and etc...

 

If you see everything fine then you dont have ny problem.For any support post here :) .I am useing this client and i have no problems with my page ;)
