client.dll problem 1.6

When i try to connect on a non-steam server i get a message

 

"Your .dll [cl_dlls\client.dll] differs from the server's."

 

anyone knows how i can fix it?

Yes. You don't have the same CS version like the server.

You have to know which version they have. Write the admin a mail. Or go to their homepage and ask there.

Most servers have their homepagename in servertitle. Like "DUST_2 24/7 1000FPS | by cld-clan.com".
