Looking for people that would be willing to run l2jfree server with me.

A month ago, two of my friends and I decided to start Lineage2 server. The thing is, they changed their mind (aren't interested anymore) and don't want to do it anymore.

 

I'd still like to go on with the idea, but I'll need help.

Basically what needs to be done is:

- spread the word around

- moderate the site (it's being reworked as we speak)

- test bugs and report them to the "bug section" on the forum

- fix bugs in the code

- suggest new ideas

- other

 

I'm still learning how to code in java (I know the basics though), but compared to one month ago, when I didn't know anything about it, I'd say I learned ALOT.

 

Server is highrate, x1000-5000 with aio buffer, luxury teleporter and gm shop.

It is be based on l2jfree.

 

I'm about to rent a dedicated server soon, so you won't have any expenses to pay. You'll just be there to help me with what needs to be done and take a place in the gm crew once we go live (undergoing a trial period first).

 

Do NOT respond if:

- you're under 17!;  This one should be obvious. The older you are, the more mature you act...

- you like to cause trouble and the only thing you'd do is -beep- around;

- your english sucks; I'll need to talk to you on a daily basis. Can't do that if we don't understand each other. Also, there's a chance you'll be representing the server. "lol u pis me of i ban u gg" is not acceptable.

- you won't take this serious. If you'd like to participate just to try it out for shietz and giggles, don't. If you're like me, you'd like to start your own server but don't have the resources, the time or the will to do it on your own, then apply.

- If I need to tell you how to do everything then we won't get along at all. Looking for problems and finding solutions on your own (or with very little help) is what being a good crew member is all about. Being handed everything on a silver platter will just waste everyone's time. Yours and mine.

well, starting a server is a major responsibility. you need to work on it everyday, fixing stuff and lots of this. the most difficult part of creating a server is to find a GOOD and RESPONSIBLE crew for it
