Ok l2off are ilegal on the part that his sourcecode was stolen and sold on the blackmarket and an latter put free on internet, but thats not all cause the files latter than c4 are extender, i mean ppl programed them, c4 is full ncsoft work but latter is work of many programers.

L2j is legal cause its an emulator witen in pure java, and is under the GNU flag, i mean its a free distribution, that u can edit and do everything u want, the ilegal part comes when you edit the system or other files cause you are violating the EULA of NcSoft lineage 2, that says that u wont edit any files, but they cant do nothing if you edit the windows hosts file.

 

l2off is a bit better cause java only se 2 Gb of ram and l2off cause it is in c++ it see all ram that u will put in, and each Gb of ram is 500 players, so 4 gb of ram are 2000 players.
