[Tutorial]

 

Why do I need this?

If you want to start a voting for maps, you can use this plugin

Requirements?

- AMXX 1.8 (or higher) Introduction

- CS 1.6

 

Can we start now?

Ok, ok... let's start ;P

 

1. AMXX should be installed and work.

2. Download "Galileo" (Mapvote Plugin)

3. Put the rar file into cstrike

4. Unrar (push "Yes" if it asks to override)

5. Go there: counter-strike\cstrike\addons\amxmodx\configs

6. Open "plugins.ini"

7. search the lines:

nextmap.amxx		; displays next map in mapcycle
mapchooser.amxx		; allows to vote for next map

and add ";" before the lines

then it should look like that:

 

;nextmap.amxx		; displays next map in mapcycle
;mapchooser.amxx		; allows to vote for next map

 

Add this line at the end:

galileo.amxx

Save the file now.

 

8. Start CS

9. Create the Server

10. Wait 3 Minutes and than type in chat: "rtv" or "rockthevote"

11. Vote should start ;)

2) Where to type rock the vote? Chat or console in game? Admin console in Dedicated server? Do i need to write something in front of rtv or rockthevote like rcon?

3)How can i replace "Your Text Here" with my text?

1. Maps which will be voted, are defined in:

amxmodx/configs/mapcycle.txt

2. Type it in chat. Everybody can type this command

3. "Youre Text here" was not created by the mapvoting plugin.

Maybe for the others it would be also helpful:

- rtv didnt work for him because he had a writing mistake in his plugins.ini

- he didnt forward ports and he didnt know his own router name

- I helped him by using "Teamviewer".
