Fire, one of the 3 earth elements possessed by our race... The Humans... The ability to master the dark arts and manipulate fire is one of the things the humans done so far. Hungry for power, we failed at mastering the water and wind elemental which is a specialty of the Elfs.

 

As we are speaking for a low rate at the moment i will try to explain you the basics which are

[0]Leveling Places.

[0]Items Build.

[0]Skill Build.

[0]PvP Combat.

 

***Items Build***

 

We will begin with items build on every level of expertise you learn.

1-20 No grade expertise.

20-40 D grade expertise.

40-52 C grade expertise.

52-61 B grade expertise.

61-76 A grade expertise.

76-80 S grade expertise.

80-85 S80 grade expertise.

 

Non-Grade Armor that should be used is:

 

 

Non-Grade Weapon that should be used is:

Option 1)The weapon given for free from the training coupon

Option 2)Mage weapon such as voodoo doll or cedar staff or anything you have money for

 

 

D-Grade Armor shouldn't be used, unless you have money to buy :

 

D-Grade Weapon that should be used is :

Option 1)The weapon given for free from a coupon

Option 2)Mage weapon such as demon fangs staff of life or anything you have money for

 

C-Grade Armor that should be used is:

 

C-Grade Weapon that should be used is :

Option 1)Homunuculus w or w/o Special Ability Acumen

Option 2) Any other C grade mage weapon containing the Acumen option for Special Ability[sA].

 

B-Grade Armor that should be used is:

 

B-Grade Weapon that should be used is :

Option 1) Valhala with Special Ability Acumen

Option 2) Any other weapon that grade is B and with SA Acumen

Option 3) Stay with homu until A grade , that's what i usually do.

 

A-Grade Armor that should be used is:

 

A-Grade Weapon that should be used is :

Option 1)Sword Of Miracles with Special Ability Acumen

Option 2)Any other weapon with Special Ability Acumen from the grade A

 

S-Grade Armor that should be used is:

Option 1) Use Dark Crystal because its better

Option 2) Use :

 

S-Grade Weapon that should be used is :

Option 1) Arcana including special ability Acumen

 

S80-Grade Armor that should be used is:

Option 1) Dynasty Robe Set [Wizzard]

Stats:

Int+2, Wit+1, Men-2, Casting Spd. +15%, Maximum MP +321. Increase Darkness Resistance +8, increase stun resistance, increase M. Atk.

Option 2)

S80-Grade Weapon that should be used is:

Option 1)

Jewels that you should once you have :

 

D-Grade :

C-Grade :

B-Grade :

Boss Jewels:

For a last boss jewel you can have Beleth's Ring or Core ring but surely NOT queen ant [its for fighters].

 

DYE's you should use:

1x Dye: +4WIT -4MEN

1x Dye: +1WIT -1MEN

1x Dye: +4INT  -4MEN

 

So much for item's build, correct me if i am wrong but thats all the gear you will need.

 

***Leveling Zones***

Since guide is for advanced users you should know where to level, but you should also check this webpage which i will give you so you can find places in where the mobs weak point's are the Fire Attack. ***Skill's Build***

1st Main skill to use Prominance

2nd Skill You should use in PvE/PvP Aura Flare :

3rd Skill And the skill you should start your fight with is Surrender To Fire :  

4th Skill The skill you should also use in PvP is Fire Vortex :

5th Skill After Casting the Fire Vortex skill its a must to use this skill which is Fire Vortex Buster

6th Skill Now This is a skill which you should only use in PvP's where the enemy keeps distance from you and you are the first one to attack the skill is called Decay:  

7th Skill is a skill boosting your fire attacks power you can cast it on yourself so your fire attributes increase its name is Fire Seed :

 

There aren't other skill you should use in PvE/PvP that's why sorceress is one of the easiest classes to control it doesn't have many skills but they are one of the strongest among them all so its pretty much like enough.

 

Last thing you should learn is

 

 

***PvP Combat***

 

1st As i said before you should use Decay on a target that keeps distance from you, it must be in your clan war or it has to be flagged in order to do it, i recommend it only for a 1v1 fights where your opponent keeps a distance.

 

2nd After casting decay you should use surrender to fire so every next attack will deal additional damage that will help you kill your enemy as twice faster.

 

3rd After you have made your target vurnable to fire you should try to cast fire vortex , if the enemy is far away from you casting fire vortex is a MUST and after that its only logical to cast the skill named Fire Vortex Buster thats a must you should remember that.

 

4th If you had done everything i explained in the last 3 steps you should start spamming the skill Prominence which deals a lot of damage after you weaken your target with the fire vortex and surrender to fire, your enemy, after the attack you made, will most likely have around half hp [even less] left since you already done decay which is the strongest poison in game and you done fire vortex so he should be pretty damn wasted now after you done the 3 steps start spamming prominence until your enemy drops dead.

 

5th If your target is close to you, you wont have any chance to run so you should start hitting the enemy with Aura Flare until he drops dead...

 

Actually mages are not that good when they meet againts a melee , what i mean is that a melee will most likely kill you if its next to you... But than again if you catch him in a distance off-guarded he will drop dead in no time.

 

I think thats all about i can teach you, now you should log and create a sorcer/ess and start exploring the secrets of fire.

 

I am not here to teach you how to play, just to give you some sings which will help you develop your own strategie with which you will grow to be a nice player.

actualy its better to use devotion till 40 lvl

for C grade is better Demon set bcoz of the m.atk m and demon is good till you get DC robe set ( some 70 + mages prefer to use demon set to lvl bcoz of the m.atk )

and DON'T use Aura Flare in pvp bcoz it debuf you for 10 sec -50 % m.atk , also decay suxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

next time when you copy pasta atleast watch what you copy...

2nd, As far as i can see you lack every kind of l2 knowledge, decay is a very powerful skill and as i said above its the strongest poison's , it deals app. 2-3k dmg while surrender to poison is included when not it usually drains the cp of the enemy [as you know the damage you take is increased when you have cp so your cp is lowered pretty fast].

3rd, Hopefully the one that plays with the sorcer/ess won't be a retard like you and hopefully he would know how to buff so he would have slots for 2 or more debuffs

4th, Demon set is a armor that only suits Spellsinger, they use it only, and ONLY on sps because of the highest m atk, sorcer/ess have big m.atk they need only casting speed so they can cast debuff magic's such as decay/cancel/sleep

5th and last, i see you don't actually know how to play mage you would know that Aura Flare debuffs only for 3 seconds and it doesn't deal -50 m atk it deals the same m atk  as it should the only thing is that you don't have surrender for that type of magic so you can't deal such dmg as you can with surrender to fire + prominence but if you really knew how to play you would know that maybe its a weaker skill but you cast 3x times for the time you can cast prominence also it deals 6/10 of the dmg that prominence do w/ surrender to fire so next time you start making smart comments at least know what you're saying.

One of the best guides I've seen here rly :) but...

 

Decay is earth attribute.

Demon set suits every mage. It's the best armor to farm, cause it gives a high boost to your m atk, which is more usefull for lvling. A friend of mine lvled his sorcer 40-76 with demon set, just for the m atk.

Maybe demon set is good although i would prefer to equip dark crystal/tallum armor on 61 level because of the mana, as we both know they aren't mana pots on retail ;)

About decay , as far as i remember its poison attack and it works like poision, anyway its a attack you should use in pvp.

2. decay is shit for pvp bcoz any normal mage,dager,archer gonna kill you while you casting decay

4rofl demon set suits only sps ..... learn the game , most mages prefer to use demon set bcoz of the +4 int , there is no better pve armor

5 aura flare - Attacks a nearby target. Temporarily decreases your magic attack power during PvP.

Aura Flare All Magic Damage -50%, this includes the Aura you cast to get the debuff.

aura flare was good in c3

best way to pvp with sorc is DC robe set start with cancel , surender , nuke nuke nuke

Keep dreamin' smaili , decay is casted with the same speed as surrender, and aura flare does not decrease 50% of the m atk and demonic set is just for pve we are speaking about a pvp charecter , well not only but mostly for PvP, tho i don't see anyone wearing demonic on sorc lately , so i would most likely prefer Karmain.

nice guide but u forgot 1 very important skill..CANCEL ftw.u always cast it on flagged ppl then surrender then vortex then vortex buster then u prominence^^.Cancel is one of most usefull skills so u should use it all the time

I think in low rate, Sorceress/er is one of the worst classes to play. It is hard to lvl, takes too much mana per cast. Not so much damage, but I agree that the Pvp part is good.
