Norton has problems with gameguard... view the official forum of l2... also, it eats tons of ram (for the live shield, which is a crap) and the scan method bends your CPU (don't even think to run any program in the background while using scan method in norton). I use those damn things for a lot time now, and i work with such things, and nod32 is the best choice... If ya bought it, eis tin ellhnikin, ekanes patata :P

 

Norton's work was the best you could find online for personal security, but after that damn company, symantec, bought his work, his antivirus is a crap...

 

It has no registry startup protection too. Lacks antiphishing protection. Last point, the uninstallation of this program will result in a good format of your system... Not even the restore system methods helps... It needs to know how to remove all the craps it leaves...

it is true that norton can make your pc craaaaaaaaaawl and it has biiiiig slowdowns but i must admit that norton was very good antivirus.a week ago a friend of me suggested me use kaspersky which was a very easy to use program but really helpful!to tell the truth i havent installed any anti virus in my pc yet!thats no good but thats reality to me!karpesky is great!i think i ll choose kaspersky

My opinion is to use kaspersky+zonealarm which is dah best firewall+spyware doctor or spysweeper and your pc will have many P.Def ;D
