how to find npc id...

i want to make a walker script for my server and i need the npc buffer id but don't know if i can find it ...

there was a guide in forum about opening the npcname-e.dat. i did that but i didn't find the npc in there ... well its custom npc so s there anyway to find the npc id ??

its gracia part 2 and my hpx is in russian ... so i can't really understand what it says also the packets i recieve and send to that npc are all marked as "unknown".. any other solution ? :D

well, my think, frist speak with a normal npc, watch that packet in phx, after that move to custom npc, watch that packet, and in these 2 packets probably you will find the custom npc's id.

 

newest phx has russian item id, npc id.ini files, so change it with later phx's ini-s

The name of the npc is "Npc Buffer" (w/o "") but the npcname-e i have is the official one ... the server only uses a

host to connect so i odn't hink its in there ...

 

@ HUNpusi2 i will try the way u told me with hpx and if it works i will edit my post. Btw i don't have russian language  

packet in my windows :P

Ok. I think this npc is from srv side :D if it's only in host..hm..then you could ask a gm(don't think will tell you :D)
