An unsual Dota hero to pick...i bet most of the dota players dont even know what this hero is capable of.And thats the man reason why you see this Character quite often in matches(most chances to play or face him in -ar -sd modes rather than in -ap)! You may notice that this hero if played right is a killing or farming machine if wrong you might think that he is the worst hero ever

in -ap he belongs to the scourge side

 

History

 

Brought back to unlife by the vicious Harpy Queen, this once proud Wyvern was turned to a Visage of it's former self. Corrupted by chaos, the Visage is now a master of Death; the unholy chill of the grave driving him into killing frenzies. Emphatic to souls, he can consume fresh souls to heal and animate souls of his dead breathren into corpses to fight by his side.

 

Starting Stat Points and gains per lvl

 

Strength 17+1.75

Agility 17+2.0

Intelligence 19+2.45

 

Why Sould i Take Visage?

 

1)His Renevants are pure ownage :P

2)He can receive a lot of damage thanks to his skills

3)Very Good farmer especially with renevants

4)Renevants can be your eyes in the map

 

Why Should i Avoid Visage?

 

1)Needs time to be played right

2)You ll be kicked if you dont know him well(pubs freak sometimes)

3)No real disables...just a slow

4)Weak early game

5)We control a flying bee or what?he should have better animation imo :P

 

Skill Explanation

 

Grave Chill

Visage drains the life from a target, slowing its attack and move speed. He then gets bonuses equal to those drained. Lasts 10 seconds.

 

Level 1 - 8% of attack speed and 8% of move speed drained to Visage.  (110mp consumption 18 sec cd)

Level 2 - 16% of attack speed and 16% of move speed drained to Visage.(120 mp consumption 18 sec cd)

Level 3 - 24% of attack speed and 24% of move speed drained to Visage.(130mp consumption 18sec cd)

Level 4 - 32% of attack speed and 32% of move speed drained to Visage.(140mp consumption 18 sec cd)

 

Note: Holaaa hooooo! That's a good move to play cops and thieves xD Use this skill to chase a hero or to slow down a chasing enemy hero ! Dont spam it early game you ll just suck your mp :D

 

Soul Assumption

Units that die near Visage regenerate him and give him 6 bonus damage. Enemies denies don't count. Lasts 30 seconds.

 

Level 1 - 4 HP Regen, 2 unit max.

Level 2 - 8 HP Regen, 4 unit max.

Level 3 - 12 HP Regen, 6 unit max.

Level 4 - 16 HP Regen, 16 unit max.

 

(Passive)

 

Note:this passive is like our survival ability :D it can provide you survaibility and a good damage boost

 

Gravekeeper's Cloak

Causes any damage taken by Visage to be reflected and changed to heal all allies in an 800 AoE.

 

Level 1 - 10% of damage.

Level 2 - 15% of damage.

Level 3 - 20% of damage.

Level 4 - 25% of damage.

 

Passive

 

Note: Thats what makes Visage a SUPER tank :P (kidding not that much) :P Actually its damage reduction and reflection back to your enemies! Enemies hit enemies die!!!

This is responsible for the following phrase when failed gangs took place:"Wtf?he is an INT!how the -beep- i died?"

Just Dont underestimate this skill

 

Raise Revenants

Raises a revenant from a corpse.

 

Level 1 - 350 hit points, 29 damage.

Can summon 5 revenants. 33% spell resistance.

Level 2 - 550 hit points, 39 damage. 33% spell resistance.

Can summon 6 revenants.

Level 3 - 800 hit points, 49 damage. Spell immunity.

Can summon 7 revenants.

Note:If Visage is attacked, his bats heal. If you attack the bats, it gives Visage health and damage.The Bats as i mentioned before can do the whole work for Visage!they can be your eyes in the map,the can be supporting hitters,they can farm,chase etc...they have a disadvantage too.They are extremely Vulnerable to Spells especially on lvl1(cc 6lvl till 11)

They can anytime be changed...its about how YOU can play and synergize with his skills

Hey Give Me a Suit To Wear!!!

 

Unlike Techies who was a special case in build this character has some alternatives options on what to wear!

 

Intreads    

Phase boots and BoTs are Clearly Rejected--->We have Grave Chill...so boost from Treads is enough and also we get some stats ^^

 

Some Crits are good :P

You all know why...

OR 

 

Personally i prefer Skadi(HP boost,dmg and the ability to slow  down enemies) this way NO ONE can escape you ^^

 

ADD ONS:

ONLY if you dont have disablers in your team...remember you are an INT hero :P

 

Good Against Nukers!!!remember Visage doesnt have big stats :D a relatevely good protection against magic ^^

 

BKB is good too but for me it is too much

 

 

NEVER GET :

Our skills have a pretty good Cooldown!Why spending on this?Waste of money...

 

Best Allies:

Healers=Heal=Survival=farm=boost=Gold=Lane Control=OWNAGE

 

Nukers:With Grave Chill Spamming their nukkes on the pray gives many chances for lane control which leads to good farm and exp

 

Vengeful Spirit: Her Passive,Her Swap,Her Cry,Her Stun = Death of Vicitim :D With Your bats it will be piece of cake :P Venge is a category on his own

 

Worst Enemies

 

Nukers are the worst enemies as your best friends for he same reasons :P

 

Those Who Can Ensnare/or Trap You...Just Dont Get Caught :PSame Goes for all the stunners...None Outside

 

Venge is Your Worst Enemy for the same reasons she is your best ally

 

Some Strategy

the best way is to solo (mid preferably)!Harass (its vital for you)as much as you can and return to fountain as little as you can(normally you can survive long enough due to your skills but that is an every1's gamestyle issue)!Sit back and absorb souls if you are harassed too much. Try to stick to one lane. if you overtaken by nukers then the best thing is to change lane

Support your allies as much as possible; keep them alive. Provoke enemies into attacking you over your teammates if you can!!!you have the ability to do so!Your character can be a multi utility for ganging(Grave Chill)Tanking(passives) and some dps

Every chaser can carry Radiance, His slow/movement speed move is really nice so if you get a radiance be sure that you'll get a lot of kills

of course it fits! instead of skadi or mkb you can replace it with Radiance  sure no prob

 

im just not a fan of radiance thats the only reason i dont rly use it :)

Cool guide, although i dont really use Visage, but its really nice to have a pro visage on your team.
