If I remember correctly, that was because ICONS on H5 were 32bit and ICONS on new chronicles were 64bit. So, in order to make them appear normally, you need to resize the icons from the newer chronicles.

DISCLAIMER 1: I remember reading about this, but I have never done it myself.
DISCLAIMER 2: It might be the number of pixels in terms of length and width as opposed to bits, I'm not sure.
