Discussion Random Classic 2.5 10X Servers Out Of Nowhere With "15K" Online?

Anyone knows what's the deal with those? I don't want to download the entire game just to check if it's legit, and honestly it looks like some kind of scam.

 

They have no forum and no facebook/VK page where you could check the activity. Obviously it won't have 15k since you couldn't move on a classic map but I'm wondering what they're up to, I mean if it's really classic 2.5 and stuff.

 

I was thinking, maybe those sites are just a standalone pages for http://www.l2sx.eu/index.php and they're just using new english sites to attract the newcomers? It's the same client (allegedly), same 10x rates, same COL as a premium currency...

seems very fake russian servers always using fake count on their websites so on http://l2mc.com/ if you press Donate it redirects you to another website and u can see there are 15 players online stucked.

I will save you time by telling you that online counter is definitely fake.

They are customers of l2-scripts, i know this because i am too and i was checking servers that were using their files to see if they are worthy or not.

Bottom line is that it is really 2.5 but in early development stage, it will require few months of work before reaching full potential.

Those servers are just a quick cash grab

Who knows, they might be stand-alone projects, which I doubt, but they are definitely using same files.
