Hello and welcome to EloBuddy!

 

First off I would like to thank you for registering on our forums, I will take this first announcement to guide you through our whole project, concepts and ideas. So let's get started!

 

What is EloBuddy?

EloBuddy is a professional environment, coded by @finndev and the Lead Developers, that allows us users and developers to manipulate the game (League of Legends) in many different ways. Everyone with basic to advanced coding knowledge can create their own hacks (named addons) that manipulate ingame events, make your player move, cast spells and so on. We already have a great API that will offer you anything that you will need to get started.

If you don't know about coding and don't even know what "API" means, don't worry yet! You don't need to know this when using our program, because we offer high quality, officially coded by the staff team and trusted developers, addons that will help you out a lot already ingame. Also you can install non-official addons by our upcoming large community.

Installing MS Build Tools 14.0

 

 

 

 

If you are prompted by the loader to this page then, please, follow the steps bellow:

Download and install .Net framework 4.5.1 (if you already have it installed, then skip this step) from here.

Download the installer using this link

Run the installer once it has finished downloading (it might take a while).

Restart your pc.

You are done.

Q: Do I have to install it?

A: Yes, some addons won't work if you don't have the required files installed.

But how to use it?

If you are stuck and can't figure out on your own how to use the loader, this is the right place for you! I will list the main features here and how to use them.

 

Finding the installation path:

If you have trouble with this green text here being red, then please open the League of Legends patcher so that the loader can find the game files. Once you have it opened, simply click the red text in order to trigger the search for the game files. If that task succeeds, the loader will also update all core files, but more about that can be found below.

 

 

 

 

 

Manually updating the core files:

If you want to manually trigger an update of the Core files, either reopen the loader or press the above green text to trigger it manually.

 

Changing the installation folder of upcoming addons:

First, click on the gear in the bottom left corner

 

 

 

 

Then, search for this option in the "General" tab:

 

 

 

Now just click ",,,". A new dialog will open where you want the new installation folder to be changed to.

 

Installing an addon:

Click on the cube icon on the left side of the window. The content should change to the addon page.

 

 

In there, you can click the green button to install a new addon. If you press the button, a new dialog will appear, asking you for eather to search on a local folder or remote git repository to install the addon from.

 

 

 

To install a remote git addon, just place the URL to the repository in the textbox below the text "Remote Addon" and press "Install". As an example, here is my repository where you can install addons from: https://github.com/Hellsing/EloBuddy-Addons

 

Uninstalling addons:

To uninstall an addon, just click on it so it's highlighted and then press the red button saying "Uninstall selected addons". You can select multiple addons by holding down the control key on your keyboard while selecting addons.

 

Updating addons:

To update all addons, press the purple button saying "Update addons". All addons will now redownload (if installed from a remote repository) and recompiled. Note that this will not redownload the core files. You still have to click the green text as described above for that.

Hotkeys

 

Currently the hotkeys are not configurable via the loader, but will be in the near future. For now you can use the hotkeys ingame listed here:

 

F5 - Reload all addons

F6 - Unload all addons

F8 - Reload and recompile

Shift - Show menu
