mou vgazei error " FATAL: Failed to open server socket. Reason: Address already in use: bind

at sun.nio.ch.Net.bind0(Native Method)
at sun.nio.ch.Net.bind(Unknow source)
at sun.nio.ch.Net.bind(Unknow source)
at sun.nio.ch.SocketChannelImpl.bind(Unknow source)
at sun.nio.ch.SocketAdaptor.bind(Unknow source)

 

All players disconected.

Wrong IP configuration or you already opened the console, for second time.

Did you add your Hexid into config file?

this problem are new (to some users), sometimes are ok the configuration but we have a little problem!

 

To solve: If you're running some Android emulator in your computer just EXIT, close all services related to Android Emulator AKA Bluestacks or anything else and try to run again the server emulator and will work properly!

The error is clear and easy to solve, I already told him two possible issues. Basically he has wrong IP configuration.

Sure, I read the error:

java.net.BindException: Address already in use

but not see the wrong hexid.

 

It's easy, he just need copy the text of actual hexid.txt and put in the database! :)

I already capy/paste the hexid but didnt work.. So I add the default one " 12345 " but didnt work either... Im not runing any android emulation... Dint know what to do.. I'll be pleased if someone can solve my problem via teamviewer..!

Oh god, what a long topic for this :D

Port is just already in use. Change it from 7777 to 7778 or 7779 or whatever port is not used. Also hexid looks wrong, so problems are 2.

Sooo.. How do i resolve the hexid problem ?

1. Open registerGameServer, clean and create hexid again.
Or
2. Open navicat, gameserver table, copy the table and paste inside hexid located at config folder or vice versa.
