100+ Ping Considered Normal?

I'm curious if ~120 ping is fine enough when testing alone on the server. All of my friends from different EU locations have the same amount. Host is in France. Its not really lagging, just shows this rather high ping count at the server selection lobby. I'm calling it high because most of the servers I remember playing at had less than 100 for me.
