Discussion Web Hosting / Gameserver Company

Hey folks,i was looking for a good and not much expensive company that hosts some websites/forums with DDoS protection and probably later for host a gameserver (another machine)

I was looking through OVH,HyperFilter (seems expensive close to others,fully expensive for gameserver in my opnion) and GoDaddy (for me seems like is the cheapest)

So...what is the best for host website/forums and a L2 GameServer (java) ??  (ofc,don't need to be "0,99$/mon",but not too abusive/expensive prices)

Someone have other possible choice to recommend?
