Let's say that you won't have any hardware problems... maybe the bandwidth can be a limit if there are too many players but I'm not sure about that because the traffic depends on the server pack you will use.

lets say we will use a "heavy" pack of source and codes like l2jaciz for example what will be the limit of online players +- ?

Thousands... I don't know exactly but 1k - 1.5k for sure, because I've never seen a server with more than 1k active players.

You can roughly calculate how much memory you will need by multiplying player count by 2 like this:

base server usage + (player count * 2) = memory consumed in MB.

About bandwidth you can calculate it roughly with 50-100 kbps per player. I again say that this numbers are very rough and depend on many stuff like what your server/players do.

 

In few words: don't worry about it :)
