Edit java

Question

Well i post here cause i think it will be better for other to answear. Is there a way to modify java files from my server allready instaled??? i mean to open the java file edit what i want and then close it? with eclipse ofcourse...

 

Cause eclipse downloads the svn and now its for gracia but i want hellbound. So i need a mini guide how to edit java files with eclipse from the server allready instaled. PLS i rly apreciate any answear ty.

tell me how cause i can download what i want compile etc make the arhive and the just copy from archive right?

 

or pls tell me any1 how can i edit my java server files? lets say i want to put some code in l2jserver.jar (with server ofc allready instaled) how can i do that??? can any1 explain me some short steps pls?? cause that guide with eclipse i read but that only shows how to get the server archive. ty

1.search !

2.dl eclipse -> checkout your pack from svn via eclipse -> edit your java files which are located on the workspace

3. learn java to edit them

1. did alot and i still do ;)

2. i did (i even found out how to change from gracia to hellbound and etc)

3.i am and i want but i am new anyway you didnt helpes so much for a man like you(i mean who knows alot about java and things like this).

 

i just have a misunderstanding pls answear any1 that knows: anything i modify at workspace at java directory it is saved when compiling in L2jserver.jar right?

1rst i dont know a lot in java , i am newbie , 2nd i learned from a-styles guide and l2j ones ! yes yes!! i searched a lot of forums !! yes!! and finally i wasted a lot of my time to edit even 1 word!! test by your own , i wasted hours for 1 thing which was on my eyes! what i did i tell it to you !

the thing is i rly serach you have to belive me. and the only thing i dont get is when i modify things in eclipse at workspace at java folder (the .net/sf/gameserver etc) is it saved in l2jserver.jar???? cause lets say i want to make some changes in code the only thing i have to copy/paste is the l2jserver.jar??? i dont know if i am clear.

lets say i use l2jserver pack from l2jserver.com , i checkout my server , i edit enterworld.java , then i go into eclipse> package explorer if i am not wrong>right click>run as >1rst and build or smth like this and it starts compiling it > then go to your workspace>server pack folder>build>l2jserver.jar and replace it to your server files

your the best!!! i was doing the dist[default] thing and make all pack and then exctract this s easyer ok ty very much bro! that was the thing i modifyed enterworld :P

 

i was only curios to be sure everything that is in java folder, all the net.sf.l2j.xxxxxxxx is stored in the l2jserver.jar right? and ty very much
