Few Questions For A Good Night.

Question

Posted (edited)

I am using aCis files and im wondering how to do these things:

1. Start level - 20.

2. Looking for a working buffer for 320 rev.  (I know that there is custom buffer in rev.324 but i dont want to wait for it.)

3. How to create a new item with duration. I checked some shadow items, but the time is ticking away only if I wear em. I want an ETCitem with duration 12h.

1) You can use your own pc for testing purposes and building.. you will need a static ip when your server goes to production.

2) aCis doesn't provide timeline (and diff patches for free), so you can keep your customs in a diff patches to apply them when you get the newest revision. l2jfrozen provides a timeline, and you can apply the latest changes to your source.

When you made some changes to your server, you should only replace the affected files (or .jar file)... there is no need to set up again the server.

Generally, the only thing to edit on an already installed server is the library l2jserver.jar.

Regarding revision system, the best move is to make your own timeline, import sources at a particular revision, and then try to follow the pack project and add your customs on your own. Like that you don't specially depend about project revision system and you can apply any update.

aCis provides timeline/SVN access, but only for Inner Circle members.
