Downgrading from a public GF extender to Hellbound is more easier than what the heck you are doing.

Untill you finish "coding" and cleaning + fixing Hellbound fully years will pass.

But good luck really, HB is a really cool chronicle

 

Thanks for the suggestion, however Mac is the extender's owner and this is downgraded GF.

Updates to server posted in the CB section :)

 

I would have found them if that section wasn't locked to non closed beta testers. That's why I asked for some info.

[Core - .DLL updates]

- Fixed purple timer (flag) correctly cheking hooks. HB like = 40 seconds.
- Fixed privatesellstore packet bug, caused server crash.
- Fixed social actions with new own handler connector from RequestSocialAction packet (GF has no such packet)
- NOP'ed/Removed over-enchant HP bonus from armors (Gracia Part2 feature)
- Re-fixed CalcBowBonus damage to return 1.0 always - from faulty RandomWeapon damage fix done earlier
- Removed SoulsBonus from all SkillFuncFX::CalculateDamage calculations to damage.
- Fixed ExAuctionItemInfo packet for auction item info
- Fixed HennaItemInfo for Dyes\Symbols

- Fixed Recipe.txt not to create foundation\double items when crafting
- Removed Deager's Good Work's Reward Quest
- Removed Inventor Maru NPC from gameworld
- Removed Ultimate Defence ability for ALL monsters
- Fixed Raid Curse to be removed by i_dispel_by_category and similar
- Fixed Invincible-type skills from receiving beneficial buffs during activity
- Fixed max soul consuption of TwinShot, see damage fix in Core
- Fixed Soul Mastery's max effect on all levels
- Removed Magic Barrier and Haste from Newbie support buffs
- Removed teleporting from Newbie Guide's

- Removed Adventurers' Guide from Hunters Village
- Fixed teleports to now cost instead of being free for 40 or below
- Removed Common Items from NPC: Cema

Testing is better and effective than expected, however still looking for some more active testers

Server update 19/08/2014

 

Updated the server files this morning, here is a quick list of what has been fixed:

 

[Core - DLL Updates]:
 
- Blocked Accessory type items on isvalidvariationitem(CItem*);
- Fixed instancezone command - replicating instantzonedata-e.dat in server. see ..\\hbconfig\\izonename.txt
- Fixed ExRequestBidItemAuction for bidding.
- Fixed Dye packets all around ( should be no more).
- Fixed static re-use algorhythms - to pre GF with CSpeed\ASpeed on is_magic types.
- Fixed small issue with CDuelLMS class.

- Removed Olf & Brother from NPCPOS
- Moved Captain Bathia.
- Fixed Dynasty Breastplate Force Master set reward.
- Fixed a shitload of multisells from masterwork\superior\foundation type items - and removed a few bad ones.
- Fixed Agression mana consume.
- Fixed i_death lethals with first param command, test chances in place now. geusttimated.
- Fixed alotta Kamael Skill soul consumption to HB - see: 
- Fixed newbie helper htmls + AI logic for buffs HB Style.
- Removed all Kamaloka\Tutorial html pop ups from AI.

We will be moving to a new server today and that will be our home until live icon_smile.gif Also more server file updates will be applied after the move is complete. All types of work and testing being done. Webpanel as well is nearly done. We'll let people in to a demo version when it is all ready.

Dual Boxing Policy
 
We allow each player to play with his main account and one extra 'box' at the same time.
Offline shops are limited to two shops per player. We are aware that all dualbox protections can be circumvented by the use of multiple pc's. Be aware however that the restrictions above are restrictions by player. Players caught with more then the allowed maximum of clients ingame risk getting all accounts involved blocked.

- Fixed LMS Crash on IsValidTarget
- Fixed Issue on QuestItemList, with wrong call back on hook.
- Fixed PetInventory Moving Logic when user exits\discs - see hbext.ini.
- Added option for overriding drop_period on itemdata globally - for decay time of items dropped from monsters.

- Fixed pet death time from 24h to 20 minutes.
- Fixed Parman HTML

- Changed Fortress Ownership time to 75 hours.
- Fixed SSQInfo Packet ( 0xFB ) from GF 64bit Q(s).
- Added switch\removed Master's attribute being switched for Summon(s) actual defence attributes - see hbext.ini.
- Fixed level up animation and sounds SocialID.
- Fixed Enchanting's system messages.
- Removed Non-Baium path for A Fate's Whisper quest.
- Refixed Skill cooldown logic to now include all physical type skills (Error from previous update, where cooldown variance was added).
- Fixed Clan packets, to properly show members et al.
- Finished Blackwatch for serverside\clientside - will release client dll in the coming days after protection tweakage.

There is no date released yet from admin staff, however as I see we will have an open beta sometime end of this month (Keep in mind this my personal opinion).

Also it would be a waste if this promising hellbound opens same time with rpg.

I don't think it will fail even if it opens the same day with rpg. People who want to try something new are going to play this. People are bored of IL and H5, they also don't want GOD starwars servers. Assuming this is 100% OFF without bugs, there's no way it can fail.
