Suggestions Related With Maxcheaters Updates.

Since there are alot discussion's what and how should be done to improve the community and amount of visitors i would like to suggest few changes in order to improve forum and it's functions.

Maxtor mention that he would like to see topsite in MaxCheaters so i'm willing to suggest at first this:

 

Making a topsite requires PHP developers and Designers. Active Administration (to approve  new servers).

Here is my simple suggestion:

 

Making a forum section about Private servers top rating site.

 

How about simple change the order of private server's not by "Last who was replied" but "Most followed".

 

 

I doubt there is an other simple and free way of self advertisting.

So why don't we use something already created?

Making an banner with link directly to post so players of server can daily make views of forum to vote and ofcourse search for new servers in it.

Famous Topsites use this banners as advertisting and they success.

 

I believe this would be just the begining of change.

Also if someone have and want to correct something feel free to reply.

Everyone i guess agree that forum should stay focused on Lineage II, but why not to update other things?

Part of forum that is also missing and would be good to exist is "Suggestions" section. Because posting this in "Report Section" is out of rules i guess, since i'm not reporting anyone.

Since we are talking about database storage we can say that simple sql query can clean votes every month automaticly, so it doesn't need active staff to do it anyway. Moderators can take care for others things. I mean we count "Followers" as "votes".

You don't have to leave the forum because you get ignored by Maxtor he is over-busy as always.

Same thing will happen, people will reward players for making new bot accounts forcing them to follow their server topic in order to get ingame rewards (Pretty much like voting in hopzone/topzone for something overpowered)

And if we add a date limit for creation, still, this problem will persist.

You believe that 1 administrator of server can feedback himself more then 200 players of real server?

Also if the forum itself offer good content i belive such advertisting even if administrators force players to create "bot" accounts most of players may decide to stay. If forum needs way to bring people here why not to use the way already exists?

I've banned an ip with 47 bot accounts so an individual can get 47x the server's reward. Do you think that he'll stick arround?

I was trying to explain you that no system can be created on feedback simple because there is no shown IP's of people who are actually voting (like in Topzone or Hopzone...etc).
