trying to change Interlude auth port from 2106 to something else

i'm 'hex editing' engine.dll that attached to l2.exe, but there are too many 0x083A (2106 hex), i do not know which one should i change

can someone tell me how to do that?

you need decompile engine.dll and recompile it again to link to l2.exe.

who decompiles a dll and then recompiles it just like that and changes the auth port? 

 

A guy who wont really spend time on a game like L2, so keep dreaming..

good if you really believe that because this a while working with a client one should know all this very wrong, my hand is on the modified customer (textures and animations) I never went to the side of the programming and reverse engineering, so if really want to keep pulling my reputation overboard, because I do not care, I'm perfect, take care.

didnt offend you, but dlls are native libraries and their decompilation is nearly impossible since even if you succeed you will miss more than 30% of info. So think twice before talking about client code modification...
