Stereotype Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Text its to blured The size its to big And maybe change the font. ^^
xDrac Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 I'd make the green color of your bar fit with the green of the deviantart logo, would look better that way (imo). Also wouldn't be using outer glow (?) on the text. Maybe a black 1px stroke on low (20%?) opacity to add in some depth. Frame the logo in in a border maybe. And the white pixels on the corners of the logo look a little weird, I'd remove them.

FinalGod Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 Text its to blured The size its to big And maybe change the font. ^^ Actually he just overdid with the outer glow. It's not blurred.
Destorion Posted July 31, 2013 Author Posted July 31, 2013 Actually he just overdid with the outer glow. It's not blurred. So if i understood correct you mean to decrease a bit the outter glow's effect to be abit more stable with the rest of the userbar?
FinalGod Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 So if i understood correct you mean to decrease a bit the outter glow's effect to be abit more stable with the rest of the userbar? What's its opacity and blend mode?
Destorion Posted July 31, 2013 Author Posted July 31, 2013 What's its opacity and blend mode? Default choice of its opacity is 75% and blend mode is screen... Maybe blend mode have to be in Normal mode??(I though that way too)
FinalGod Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 Nah.I dont know if such a blending layer fits here but try it to a color that may fit
Destorion Posted July 31, 2013 Author Posted July 31, 2013 Nah.I dont know if such a blending layer fits here but try it to a color that may fit If i made the oposite?? Dark Green after the logo and light green to the other half of the bar?? I think will be better...
Fasart Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 few simple advices for future works way better results - 1. Never use bevel & embross - it never works right , instead try using gradient or particle gradients to create sort of a shape shadowing etc. 2. Text glow , if you are using same-as-text color for the glowing make its opacity about 30% or less. 3. Try to cut out render edges completely :)

The only thing where makes the difficult of the total result is blending modes and my choices about fonts etc depending the userbar i'm gonna make ::)
