Hello, my name is Osama bin GrisoM, i made several rules in mxc back in the day, but i never made anything regarding scammers (they just keep coming back, like monkey aids)

 

We all have been scammed at some point in our life, do you remember that friend that asked you for 5$ and he never gave you the money back? do you remember the time you got that e-mail saying that you won a new toyota 0km and all you got was a virus? DO YOU REMEMBER THE TIME when you bought batman the dark knight dvd from that jamaican guy on the street and when you played the movie it turned out to be MIDGET PORN? IF YOU DO, then this guide is for you:

If you dont want to get scammed, just follow this next few rules and i can assure you you will never lose your money to a shark ever again!

1) Dont Trust anyone! i know right? we are not dumb enough to belive someone with 1 post that registered 2 days ago, but we sometimes fall under the belif that people with time and posts (reputation? ha!) are more "trustable" than newer members, THIS IS A LIE! just look at me, less than 200 words in this post and i've already lied about 15 times. DONT TRUST NO ONE, IF ITS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE THEN IT'S NOT

 

2) If you decided to ignore rule number one and you decided to belive, then join the church of Jesus Christ all Mighty, we will take your money without lying to your face!

 

OK if you decided to buy or sell something to someone, you must have proof that they either have or dont what you want, a little example:

 

You are selling a Lineage 2 Electric Dildo +16 for 100$ & you only take paypal

 

Mr Scammyti Scam Tells you he wants the dildo & he will pay FULL PRICE

 

HOLY SHIT! aight, whats the 1st thing we do?

 

We check if this guy has more than 1 post and if those 10 posts he has are other trades with users that also have more than 1 post (maybe he created several accounts, who knows, scammers aint dumb)

 

here comes the trouble, who will take the 1st step on this trade? i always think the one with the money must give, half of the money 1st and when he gets the item he's buying he should give the other half, WHY? because the one with the $ can make a dispute on paypal and get his money back (UNLESS) you sent the money as personal, in which case MR scammer is spening your money on a brazzers premium account.

 

3) BE PATIENT, YOU GOY!

 

If you are trying to buy or sell anything you will have to be patient, it takes time to find someone good to trade with, not every one is a scammer out there (just 90% of them are)

 

4) If you didnt follow any of the rules i wrote and decided to pay 100$ for that electric dildo and you never got it, please make a thread on report section showing chat logs of how is that MR SCAMMER stole that money from you, so that way, we can laugh at you in this thread for being a complete idiot.

Lets say you are on the other side, and you want to scam some kid on MxC, Then This part of the guide is for you!

 

1) Paypal is a pain in the ass since you cant get money unless you get verified by a credit card or bank account and those 2 are not so easy to get (there are ways, like creating a virtual bank account) but even that takes time so if you want to scam someone you will have to do it big, WE ARE NOT GOING TO INVEST ALL THIS TIME TO STEAL 5$ FROM AN IDIOT, ARE WE?

 

2) Aight, if you got your fake account verified then its time to Scam!

 

look what are the things people are looking on mxc, and with that information make a juicy thread

 

[WTS Electric Dildos ಠ_ಠ] would be a nice example.

 

Over the course of 1-2 days get as many buyers as you can, put an insae price for the item and tell them you want the cash 1st.

 

Once you get your prey, you will have to be quick, since once they realise they are being scammed they will start a dispute and the money will be removed from your account, so BE QUICK and have a purchase ready for what ever is that you wanted the money on the 1st place

As soon as the money is tranfered into your account tell him something like "come to X" and i'll give you the dildo! while he goes there spend all the HARD WORKING MONEY YOU JUST EARNED ON PORN ACCOUNTS (because what else can you buy on internet with stolen money really, its not like you are gonna donate that to the african red cross, are we?)

 

 

3) SPENT ALL THE MONEY? TIME TO BAIL

close & delete any trace you ever existed, paypal is not going to send the FBI to put you in jail for 100 stolen bucks, but its better not to leave any mark, thats why thiefs always wear gloves ^^ (if you can use proxy during the whole scammity scam deal)

      aCis (“another Crappy interlude server”) is a commercial project I would not use even if paid. l2jfrozen yes, a 10 year old, effectively dead project produces more reliable results and at least works. l2jhellas also works. aCis might as well be renamed KPMIS (“Keep Paying My Interlude Server”): endless fixes, freemium, and no realistic path to true L2OFF parity, but its recommended like hell. lucera is even better the downside is you just need to dive into code and no sources   lets leave it at that

      Care to detail why ?   L2JHellas probably got the same issue, it's inherent to L2J if you don't rework Player intentions (and solving it with a Config < 500 attack is stupid, if it works for attack it works for other types of desires), also last time I checked L2JHellas he was using my changesets to fix its own stuff (which is ok, copy-paste my knownlist system which is 10y old is fine, but don't say it will act different since it's literally the same sub-system).   About Lucera code source isn't available so it's easy to say it's better, internally you got no clue what is happening and RU forks got the "feeling" to get everything, but everything is half done, everytime I put an eye on such sources (whatever based on l2ru, they only know how to copy-paste each other).   In the other hand, you seem to use aCis since years (I think I see your name since a decade, and you still use it since you made this topic :   Be a little more appreciative about the work done, it's not only mine but my community aswell, and if you find something, consider to report rather than getting such an idiotic behavior.   I understand you're not forced to share any type of fixes, and than people tend to feel superior when they fix something than aCis didn't yet fix. The thing is, for each bug you found, I found and fixed 10x more than you.   409 is way beyond 382 in all possible ways, if you believe the versus good for you, but don't make ppl believe it's the case, because it's not. There's at least 400+ fixed issues (and that's counting 10 issues by revision, which is kinda low) and entire new systems (spawns, SCHs, pathfind, whole AI implemented, Desire system,...).

      better than using 409... Search for L2jHellas or Lucera and you won't have any headaches.
