Add Sound To Custom Npc

Look at the class ipos uses in npcgrp, the effect is attached to be bone already (neck something). Use the same class ipos uses in your npc and see if your mesh shares identical bone names

Hi all, I tried to add sounds to my npcs but I am getting error in .ukx file after. Someone can help me please? I used Ulreal3d Runtime to add those sounds as mention here in this topic.

 

here is my .ukx file I want to add the Normal sounds, if anyone can take a look and help me.

yes,  I am doing exactlly this. I am at work right now, as soon as I got home I will post the image here.

kay first thing is you should import sounds to a file with the same name as your ukx (just like with texture) so import into LineageMonsters90 for sound

volume = 170-250

radius = 0

 

also your ukx opens fine

Sorry I didnt understand, as you can see I used the default sounds file for mobs "monsound", what are you telling me is I need to use like a copy of this file with the same name as my .UKX ?

no you should export it the wav file from monsound and import again into LineageMonsters90

so instead of it being sound'monsound' it would be 'LineageMonsters90'

I think I got what you are saying, I exported all the sounds as wav and then imported into my package but I still got the same error

also which version of unreal are you using for this

you dont make a new uax file (its already included in ukx)

    • Sorry for such late reply. But extender in this build is just bad. It will give you this random error and shut down your server once a day, maybe more often. And since we don't have any source code of it, the solution is to remove it from the L2Server.exe file. You can do it yourself with CFF_Explorer app. Or download mine with already removed extender. No more random shut downs. The only downside is you gonna lose auto loot ability.  L2Server.exe without extender
