the unlimited zoom is an option from l2 ini... just find a l2 ini decrypter and change it from there :) (Easier and faster then downloading a whole system for just the ini :P)

There has to be a hotkey bound to increase the maxzoomzist and use it inside the game. You can not just put maxzoomdist=65535 start l2.exe and go play: I've tested it. It worked withouth hotkey last time in Interlude.
