For those, who don't know: You will probably need to change the protocol revision in your server config files. Find these lines:

 

# Minimum and maximum protocol revision that server allow to connect.

# You must keep MinProtocolRevision <= MaxProtocolRevision.

MinProtocolRevision = xxx (some number)

MaxProtocolRevision = xxx. (some number)

 

and change it to:

 

# Minimum and maximum protocol revision that server allow to connect.

# You must keep MinProtocolRevision <= MaxProtocolRevision.

MinProtocolRevision = 1 (or put the file edit dececrypting number)

MaxProtocolRevision = 999.

 

For me patches are better than hosts, but it's my opinion

about the Protocol,

If you Put

 

min: 1

max : 999

 

there will be a lot security problems + a LOT laggy...cuz you permit to ALL clients to L2 to connect to your server...take care ;)
