Xanderॐ Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Those of us that have played this game must have seen the dynamic events of Guild wars 2. Not so dynamic after a while, but still I believe they are the beggining of a new type of gameplay we are about to see in MMO's in the future. Open for discussion.

xax0r Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Why u think that dynamic events aren't dynamic? In my opinion... yes, it's future of all new MMORPGs.

Xanderॐ Posted September 1, 2012 Author Posted September 1, 2012 Well for starts I like dynamic events. What I didn't like in guild wars 2 is that they are repetitive. Some monster or bandits attack a place , you have to block them. If you dont they will enter the place and you will have to fight them there. If you dont succeed they will set the place on fire and you will have to clean it. This is the basic setup of the events in Guild Wars. After some time it gets repetitive. What would be good is for events to be unscripted and get generated by some sort of AI.

xax0r Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Yes, it's annoying doing this same quest all the time. I think that developers will work with it. But we will see ;)

danuta Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Sure that sort of ai would be great BUT imagine that only to create such ai requires hell lot of work programing it the implenting part could be easy maybe but the making part is hard at this time although im sure in a few years will not only see this but much much more Well for starts I like dynamic events.
