DrenepiaWorld Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Currency fluctuation is pretty common in modern economics. Euro is currently the second reserve currency after the US dollar. The financial recession in the eurozone though has made global markets to look for another "safe haven" to invest their money,in this case the US dollar. The global drop in demand for euro combined with the rise in the eurozone inflation is the main reason for this economic turmoil.Oh also a potential dissolution of the Eurozone works negative on the currency. Nothing to be a afraid of though. The value of a currency does not indicate the strength of an economy.Take a look at the value of the Kuwaiti Dinar for instance. Quote

DrenepiaWorld Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 What's that suppose to mean ? We are doing fine ? Well I was specifically talking about the euro currency and not about the Greek financial situation. What I'm saying is that the euro no matter the fluctuations it has once in awhile is still the second strongest currency. It's probably not the greatest currency to invest in if you expect short term profit but it's still a solid one which will more likely bounce back stronger in the future.
