For those still wondering whether that is true or not, feel free to compare the slot limits of the screenshots posted by DTK and PvPWorld's real slot limit. The slot limit on his screens is 80 and the actual limit in the server is 148. Busted. (thank you piccolo, for the observation)

 

 

Hello folks,

 

Welcome to L2PvPWorld. In these crazy times where it's almost impossible to find a decent old school server out there, we're out there to fullfill this task. Our main objective is to provide a quality, fast-paced, high intensity gameplay.

 

At first, I was going to run the server with JStorm (previous owner of HeavensGate), but since he had to deal with real life issues, I'll go on with the server by myself.

 

For those of you who don't know me yet: I've been playing L2 since 2004 (Korean Open Beta, if my memory doesn't fail) and developing L2 servers ever since 2006. I've successfully GMed at famous servers such as L2Elite, L2Paradise, L2Extreme and L2Ultimate. I have ran many servers in the past, the most famous ones being L2Vendetta, which I owned for over 3 and a half years and L2Dust.

 

My plan for L2PvPWorld is to unite the old school players that enjoy quality gameplay without too much fancy non-sense bullshit we see in official servers these days (no offense, NCSoft) and focused in PvP. It is also important to emphasize that the goal is to run PvP World for at least a year doing whatever is in my power to keep the server running and for that I'll need the community's support.

 

 

 

Ok, now can you tell us some features?

 

Without further ado, here's a short list of features so you can delight yourselves (features were discussed with players this week and full features will be available after development:):

 

 

The server will be hosted at AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS.

 

 

 

Chronicle: Interlude.

 

Rates: 50x EXP / 50x SP / 25x Spoil / 25x Drops / 200x Adena.

 

All players will begin at Level 61, with enough Adena to acquire A-Grade gear.

 

GM Shops.

 

S-Grade farmable.

 

NPC Buffers with all buffs available.

 

2 hour buffs.

 

Class Masters to quickly change classes. No quests needed.

 

Two Custom Zones, not defined yet.

 

Starting Area will probably be Gludio (will depend on custom zones).

 

Highly PvP focused with a custom PvP Reward System.

 

This is just a short list of features. Many other features are still being discussed. If you'd like to make suggestions regarding the current and other features, make sure you visit our FORUMS and post your thoughts. All suggestions are welcome.

 

 

 

 

Launch date: When will we be able to play?

 

You're probably wondering when we'll begin, what will be the phases until launch, when launch will be and so on. Well, here's how things are at the moment.

 

I've ordered the box last Friday, 24th of February. It will probably be ready on the 27th or 28th (Monday or Tuesday). I'll move files and start setting the server up. It should be operational for development and tests by Wednesday (29th of February).

 

Here is our official chronogram (things will be fast from now on):

 

28th~29th of February (Tuesday/Wednesday) - Beginning of Closed Alpha (only 2-5 very strict group of players to help with the core development of the server).

 

3rd of March (Saturday) - Beginning of Closed Beta (10-30 strict group of players to further help with the core development of the server).

 

6th of March - (Tuesday) - 20:00 GMT +1 - Beginning of Open Beta (Open to the public, will be wiped afterwards).

 

10th of March (Saturday) - 20:00 GMT +1 - GRAND OPENING!!! (Server will be wiped and officially available to the public).

PvP centered would mean, first of all, a server that is way more PvP oriented than PvE. What does that translate to?•Fast leveling.

  •Not much farming, or at least very little farming for the basic items to get you  in PvP fast.

  •All buffs available at the NPC Buffers and they last 2 hours.

  •PvP reward system (gain bonuses for killing players).

  •PvP ranking bonuses (gifts for the first positions every week or so).

  •PvP events organized by GMs.

I think that's about it.

First off, I never said my server is more than any of those servers. I just said I GMed on those servers. Secondly, that is just a short list of features. The server is still being developed and therefore the full list is not ready yet. Plus, do not judge a server by just what you read in the features. Did you expect me to say you can be a dinosaur? Just wait till it comes up and play before you make such assumptions.

 

Last but not least, before you criticise someone or something in such a negative way like you did, make sure you can do something better, otherwise just be quiet if you got nothing positive to add. Thank you.

 

Just a SMALL CORRECTION. Jovan is a loyal player from my server and posted this here, but he forgot to say this server is L2OFF. It is NOT L2J. I have never developed nor will develop L2J servers.
