hi ppl i want ask something...i play on an interlude server with non custom items,can i put apella texture on the armors??for example dc robe looks like apella robe,imperial looks like apella heavy and dragonic looks like apella light..i will appreciate everyone who can give me some help.. :)

Yes.

Of course you can do this but there is no reason at all.

If i am correct you want the apella outfit for DC.

Instead though of saying Apella Robe (when u click on the item), despite the texture, you want to see Dark Crystal Robe but with Apella textures.

 

It's client side. There won't be any changes to the game server or server side effects.

 

There is 1 problem though.

By doing this... everyone that wears dark crystal robe will seem like they wearing Apella Robe (to you only, from their point of views they will see that you are wearing Dark Crystal Robe too).

 

Am i correct so far?

you just have to change the stats of the armors in the navicat but first you have to search the armor's id to make these changes....

then find out the id of the Apella and make the changes by using Navicat, Also put the htm,xml and sql file from it..... and execute the sql to the navicat.. and with this way you can do all the changes you want ;) from DC to apella or Reverse.

Well i made a quick look and...

 

2407 Dark Crystal Robe

7867 Apella Doublet

 

Well... all you need is to keep on catching the other ID's of the rest parts

and swap them with Apella's. I am not sure if this gonna work 100%

but worth trying.

 

Usually i created new armor instead of using an old one.

 

For swaping between the IDs there are 2 files. armorgrp.dat / itemname-e.dat.

 

I can't help you more with this cuz it's long ago since i last played with these files.

If you want to change dark cristal textures to apella (maintaining stats from dc) the only thing you have to do is to go on your system folder and edit the armorgrp and itemname-e with fileedit, I will give you an example for dc armor:

 

Apella robe itemname-e:

7867 Apella Doublet May be worn by a Baron or a higher level Aristocrat. Full body armor used by clan members. -1 7867,7860,7868,7869 Produces the following effects: Maximum CP +177 and +40% CP recovery speed. When under attack from an opposing PC, debuff can be cast at an 80% success rate. 0 0 6 When all set items are enchanted by 6 or higher, P. Def. and Weight Gauge will increase.

 

Dark crystal robe itemname-e:

2407 Dark Crystal Robe Full body armor. -1 2407,512,5767,5779 P. Def. +8%, Casting Spd. +15%, speed +7, magic cancel rate decreases by little, chance to get Paralysis attack -50%, WIT+2, and MEN-2. 0 0 6 When all set items are enchanted by 6 or higher, P. Def. and Weight Gauge will increase.

 

So here what you have to do is replace the red letters on apella for the red letters on dark crystal.

 

Apella robe armorgrp:

So here the same, replace the red letters in dark crystal for the red letters in apella.

 

Btw, I dont recommend you to create 2 armors with the same name due you will probably get errors during encripting with fileedit.

 

PW: You will have to change dark crystal name in database too.
