I have tried quite a few hosting companies and this one is the best of them all in my opinion.

Shared hosting plan has best ddos protection, also l2 website does not require VPS. They also offer dedicated servers with specific traffic filtering but you need to ask for a quote.

Anyhow.. here's link to their website: http://ddoshostingsolutions.com/

+ ddos protection (can be quickly upgraded)

+ fast ticket support

+ linux w/ apache supporint mssql connection

+ tcp synack cookies

+ fast response time

- live chat is rarly online (but ticket support is really quick)

IMPORTANT:

Before you buy ask them for 50% discount coupon (you get 50% discount for first payment.. even if you take for a year - regular for example 300$, with the coupon it's 150$).

I had service on them twice for 2 months each. My site was always down. When I used their support to find out why, I usually had no reply and when I had, their reply was that its my fault, my connection. Funny thing is that because of business I own a dozen of proxy on different subnets and locations. It wasn't working anywhere.

I then left them to run my own VPS.

EDIT: Cancel this review, check the reply from DDHS just after this message and my reply after.

Thanks for the review. I'm going to reply here just to clear up some misinformation contained in the responses to this thread.

They're the same people as seedboxsolutions. Crappy service, crappy machines and an even crappier refund policy

We are in no way affiliated with this company that you are talking about. I have absolutely no idea how you came to the conclusion that we are. Their quality of service absolutely DOES NOT reflect ddoshostingsolutions.com in any way.

worths the money?

as i can see they have poor custom service

I'm going to assume that you came to this conclusion due to the reply I responded to above. We are very responsive, and have 24/7 support for all Emergency related issues. Customers frequently see response times within minutes and resolutions within an hour.

A quick search of your username reveals the accounts that you have had with us. The first account you signed up for over 3 years ago, which was when our DDoS protected web hosting service was still a baby, and undergoing development. Accounts back then cost $10/mo, but had much less protection than we currently offer. We've grown a lot since then and offer a more steady, solid service, with excellent DDoS protection, through years of experience in the DDoS related market.

As for the shared hosting account that you had with us, which was more recent, you had a few trouble tickets logged in relation to the hosting account that you had. One was about trouble accessing FTP (your site wasn't down). Another was about Remote MySQL access, and another about a custom DNS A record, and a few others. In all cases, the matter in question was resolved promptly within a few hours, except for one in which one of your scripts which were not functioning properly on the server. It appeared as though one of your scripts needed to be tweaked in order to perform correctly in a reverse proxy environment, and we're not PHP developers. You had no logged tickets about site downtime during this period of time, as well.

In all of your tickets to us (specifically the ones logged during your first account with us), we NEVER blamed the issues on your 'connection'. In many cases, we were simply straight forward with you whether there were some false positives or a network issue over at the DC.

My apologies, I am terribly sorry. Yes, it is exactly as you say.

I messed with with another company (can't recall their name now).

I will edit my post accordingly.

Again, I am very sorry for this.

By the way, do DDHS support cloudflare (IP whitelisting of cloudflare network, etc)?

I do not care for the reverse proxy but for the anti-spam/ filtering.

Hi nekys,

Thank you for clarifying that. We really appreciate it. :)

We can certainly support CloudFlare for a customer upon request, including whitelisting traffic from any CloudFlare origin IP's. However, we'd need to put you on a dedicated IP address for security reasons, as we would have no control over your website's DNS in order to reroute traffic accordingly during heavy floods, if necessary.

You are right, if you use round-robin (I suppose you do), cloudflare would be a problem.

I am asking not for me, but I may send you a client (if you also support pseudostreaming) but would be nice to ask you in public in case anyone here is interested on the same thing.

I am sorry but now I keep my own hardware and vps setup, if I didn't I would definitely give you a try again.

Then just try... http://www.dalexni.com/index.xml ;)

If I want to pay, I would pay a company, not just some random kid playing the admin. No offence but professionals demand professional solutions, plus it is unethical to advertise your lame (illegal) "company" on another review. HostChefs maybe is nice for kids who want to make a website for a month or two till their server fails, but you can find a professional original service for 10 times less money.
