Something i cannot really understand is why he gets banned so often...

 

He's not the strongest pick, but he's not a bad one either. Maybe because of his ult? Well, personally, I find it easily countered by simply running back when you're at a dangerous position, going into a bush, and not overextend when I'm not sure if I'm safe. Never really had problems against him...

 

well, that's true but he can be a dangerous when he is jungling , u must be always aware about him.

There are more dangerous junglers like Rammus and Shaco. However, Rammus is 99% ban, and Shaco sucks late game, unless he gets fed ;p

I just don't get it...Why people think he's OP?If they actually try to face Nocturne in a PvP, especially at early-game they'll realise that he's more than easy to be killed...

Imo he's not OP...

Actually, he's pretty strong at 1v1. His spell shield can really turn the tides of a battle.

Many things can be said about a 1v1...Player's experience, masteries, runes etc etc...

But on a standart battle he can die more easy than Renenkton or Yi for example...Maybe it's me, because I'm not yet with full runes...dunno

against a finishing move he ll survive(kathus etc)and he can escape or even kill a runner

Renekton is supposed to build tanky and be difficult to kill, anyway.

 

Yi is pretty easy to kill in team fights, that's why they usually just backdoor, when team fights are taking place.

 

Nocturne can be tricky in team fights, as he can avoid spells like Rammus' taunt and Singed's Fling. Spell Shield + Banshees can work pretty fine.
