well for me yes is a external program used for make that, but maybe wrong, let me check later that for see it's possible ;)

sony vegas and photoshop,

fraps and l2 record (the one u have in game)

 

for the part to move come around, he use the l2 record, which let u film all around ur char, but dont record ur skills bar, menus, names, stats/hp/cp/mp bar/etc.

for this he use fraps.

 

and then a good edit in sony vegas and photoshop.
