I have opened a l2j server in Freya Client and i want to open him. But i'm afraid of l2attackers....so i don't open it.

Is there any programm or any java code (or watever)to help me protect my server from phx or attacks??

I have heard something about a programm which is called ''Game Guard''.What is this??

Please answer to my both questions (if you can)and help me protect my server!!

There is always a way to protect your self from those shitty attacker somehow.

About "GameGuard" its simple Lineage2 default protection (shitty one)

There is more problems associated with this than the benefits.

If you mean ddos attackers, then you are screwd up,since you need much money + knowledge for this :)

(These attacks that bring servers down)

About L2J attacks, they are easy to fix through some java codes

So if i am attacked by l2j attackers i have just to repair some java codes and it is over??

But many servers (like l2mafia xD)are being attacked daily. Why this server for example does not lags and close??

i think that they use some special programms(not sure about that). Are there such programms?

They are called Shell booters

They flood your gameserver/machine(dunno exactly) with packets(imagine, even L2DEX is getting pwned by them)

There are ways to avoid them, such us Firewall and expensive Hardware, among with some configurations at Centos(linux)

I don't know exactly how to avoid them,though :(

About L2J attackers,yes

I want to send my server in a company (http://www.hetzner.de/) it is good company??because i asked if they can provide me firewall and they answered no....

(can i put a firewall in my server alone??for example in gameserver)

As i heard, is good company.

Because it is dedicate server, you can't put any protection at the pc that you bought from them, except from these that they are providing.
