Which Linux Operating System do you suggest me to buy for a Lineage 2 server(dedicated server)? Which has the best protection? Can linux protect me from shell booter attacks?

First of all Linux operating systems are free. For a Lineage 2 server I would suggest you to use Ubuntu Server edition (without GUI). And of course, linux is more secured than Windows is, but in both cases, it really depends on your performance (software).

Nothing can protect you if you dont have the knowledge to handle the os.

 

Depends on your linux experience because a well setted up windows is better than a fucked up linux.

 

In case if you dont know anything about linux learn or go with windows, in other case the best pick would be linux debian with a minimal setup or a lamp if you are not that good with it.
