Okey. The time of leechers should be ending soon. I don't want to see anymore these 2000x, 100x, 10x servers with normal TVT event and meaningless PVP for nothing else than pvp points -> feeding ftw. The lineage 2 as we know will be soon f2p, don't ask for proof, go and find out about it somewhere else than this topic. And I'm sick after 6 years in normal servers. I beg you. Someone must have enough skills to do a FEATURE FULL server. suggestions? Skip to end if you don't want suggestions. Improved mana system -> no potions -> EE/SE to glory -> improved mana usage on fighters. Full time CTF/Domination event in open area farm zone with award for clan (reputation?) Raid boss system which encourages to PvP. We all know for example retail like baium makes some PvP. So, what about system which announces a time when raid boss is going to spawn -> you can teleport to area where teleport will activate -> auto flag. The boss zone will also be chaotic zone so no need to PK your opponents(if not in clan war) Enough easy farming to get basic items for PvP. Raid bosses has something epic which gives a little advantage? A LITTLE. Or reputation for clan. Castle siege/Fortress/TVTVT(3 teams) auto events. With actual prizes. -> Achieve samething as killing raids with PvP. (Easier to do raids, advantage for clans). Aden castle could provide more than 1000 reputation and chance to challenge Boss FREYA? Epic bosses and jewels: Epic jewels from normal epic bosses, but jewels with almost same stats(a little reduced)from shop, to provide a chance in PvP for new players. Cancel skills -> debuff which locks down couple buffs for xx time. No more rebuffing and annoyed yells in globals. (This can be leeched from l2jforums or here on mxc) Best PvPers of the hour on main pvp zone/farm zone. Anti feed, best healer, best killer. Providing MP/HP/CP is counted as healing. (Done in some TVT events, so the main idea of the code can be again leeched from some scripts which are already shared) Vote reward system with Browser shop for Epic jewels, elixirs hp/cp/mp, etc.. (rent a wyvern system? for fun?) Donations for epic jewels, if +16 is max in enchanting then +18 with donations. Shouldn't hurt much. No hero donate nor stats improved. Now I got into too basic things, so I stop here. The main message in this topic is to make a featured server. Guaranteed popularity! If someone knows server with good Features tell!! Or some new admin with ambition could provide us a server like this, or something else. Hopefully this topic is readable. Yes.. go with the flow. Everyone just make Interlude servers without future. Face it, there is million tries with these kind of servers and only 1-2 are successive. The truth is that if you want to actually achieve something you have to make something new and WORKING. Time to stop make leech servers where you have same features you can find on every single small server. //troll omg :D

Here is simpler Idea than my last one: Freya high rate. 1 Farm zone -> Big. Spread mobs everywhere, add some mini-bosses with improved stats and drops. 1-3 big bosses with random spawn window in the area. Which need full pt with healer and tank unlike mini-bosses which could be kill able with dmg dealers and healer. no mana potions -> faster recovery out of combat -> EE/SE to glory. -> Improved mana usage on fighters. Farming is easy, but needed even after you are full equipped. Maybe drop chance for elixirs. or something like that. Bosses/mini-bosses high chance. Elixir 3-5min re-use HP/CP/MP Domination/CTF etc. Full time event to the zone -> the owner clan gains reputation every hour. Farm/main town changes every week -> Difference to glory! Retail feature monster track racing improved, lottery improved. Only need to change the amound of adena gained and cost. Who has the guts to play and probably win? :) Even I could do all this except the full time event to farm zone. Just get a good developer and make some features. FEATURES FTW!

Successive server these days needs a lot of custom features, like new AI monsters, featured pvp zones and not too easy equipment, but about 1 week farm OR Raid bosses if you want faster(with nice AI). I have seen couple servers like this and both had a lot of players online. l2relipse was one of them. All servers fail on lack of developers and skill from admins, or idiotic players who release a "propaganda" on forums and such topic-places about only and ONLY errors of the server. Admins never get any thank for their work. back to topic: So my idea is: Custom Freya server No armors/weapons custom Customized PVP zone (full time capture the flag/domination or what s ever) Customized raid bosses with High drops and good AI. (Optional since if you want make pvp full, AI isn't the problem then) Farm zones divided in easy(safe), normal(normal zone harder mobs), hard(normal zone, even harder mobs), insane(chaotic zone -> enter -> flag -> high farming) The Insane zone could be the actual PvP Zone, because no PvP zone alone works, because players will seek out pvp most likely from farming zones. The Insane zone would contain monsters with stats enough to make them hard to rape with 3-4 players. And Raid bosses spread for bigger area around it. PvP would be awarded in insane zone, but only for the 10 best pvpers and 10 best healers after every hour. TODO: Good feed protection. Castle sieges: 3 Main castles with feature like retail has -> tax collection. The Clan gets 5%(max) of all used adena(or custom currency) to their clan warehouse(if adena then better use retail system) Other castles than these 3 won't have this effect. (EPIC CASTLE SIEGES) TW -> retail like is already enough and very pvp full in all servers. All castles has the chance to participate. The catch in the farming is that you must farm or kill raid bosses to get a little advantage in pvp. -> PVP at raid bosses. I just can't figure it out for now. Remember JUST A LITTLE ADVANTAGE. We don't want to make a shitty server where old players own every noob. An optional feature would be a mana-scroll, no potions. This mana-scroll would restore xxx amount mana per xx second -> no spamming skills. But with further thinking this would bring unbalance. Just an idea. :o Well.. I got bored in thinking so... Maybe someone would do this kind of server someday. I miss the days in l2relapse. Weekly change in farm zone and main town <3

+20 items... "unique server" what, where, when? I see basic farming/pvp server. More information needed before I'm going to even test it. Balance? max buff/dance? How many players online? I see very low people on flag count.

So this server is only events..? Neither faction system nor pvp? Random players in your team who most likely don't know anything about l2... ?

Dunno about that +16 max since new players at later days will have problems to winning pvp and such.

Work with your English a bit. + IMO Head GM should have abilities to do some developing and such. So do you know JAVA or python?

That was just a quess.. but does it hurt so much opening one port? You can close it if it doesn't work.

Forum seems like a dead place + polish language.. I think you will not get much players :/ Anyway my opinion is that these days when lineage 2 is played 100 times through you should add something more interesting to pvping than just normal TOP list.

As far as I know argentina is in South America... anyway atleast change the correct max enchant here. Or even better make it really be +16 max. Then put your English speaking gm translate the website with English keyboard. Just suggestions to make your server more friendly to English speakers -.-'

Site says max enchant +30... GG + lame translation on website. Server is located in Southern America and lags like hell for europeans and no one speaks English. Someone Confirm so I don't have to test my self and waste my time.

2 solutions came from friend of mine. 1. mysqld-nt --defaults-file="c:\program files\mysql\MySQL Server 5.5\my.ini"--standalone --console (Might be right one) 2. Open port for MySQL 1.) Click Start > Control Panel 2.) Open "Windows Firewall" 3.) Click "Exceptions" tab 4.) Choose the "Add Port" button 5.) "Name:" should be MySQL - "Port number:" should be 3306 - Select TCP 6.) Click "OK" and "OK"

Windows button + R -> write cmd -> enter Write: mysqld --defaults-file="c:\program files\mysql\MySQL Server 5.5\my.ini"--standalone --console This should show the error. Post results.

solution 1 Run again Mysql server instance configuratin wizard with reconfigure instance option. solution 2 1)Click on start->All Programs->MySql Server 5.5->MySql Server Instance Config Wizard. 2)Click next then click on Remove Instance. Then Execute. 3)Now uninstall MySql Server using the Add/Remove Software in the windows control panel. 4)After this has been uninstalled YOU MUST MANUALLY DELETE THE FOLDER WHERE IT WAS INSTALLED. In my case it was installed in: C:\Program Files\MySQL. 5)When this folder has been deleted you can reinstall without restarting and this time you will no longer get the error.

Download Java development kit 7 if you don't already have it. Then press build.xml with mouse2 and run as -> ant 1 The .rar file which contains your server files will be located at workpench directory build. Good luck. I go sleep now, so my next answer may be late.
