Before we start: I´d like to thank (again) to this website http://www.sexyracing.com/lineage/l2howto You will find there a complete decrypt/encrypt guide wich I´ve used to extract the dds image textures files and make the changes on utx files. You may also find TOOLS for your decrypting/encrypting process. YOU CAN ALSO USE THIS METHOD TO EDIT LOADING SCREENS, ARMORS, BOOTS, GLOVES, HAIR, BODIES. NPC´s ETC This tutorial is just about manipulating dds files on photoshop. To open dds files on photoshop you need to download the Nvidia DDS plug-in for free at this site: http://developer.nvidia.com/object/n...ure_tools.html (downloading is freeware, install it at the photoshop´s plugin folder>file formats folder) If you need photoshop basic usage tutorials just google it, you´ll find a lot of resouces for this software. I´m not providing you with photoshop software. Let´s get started Open photoshop and locate the dds file you just finished extracting from the UnrealEditor. Click "image>adjustements>hue & saturation" in the upper PS menu with your digital portrait and slide as it shown in this screenshot: http://img516.imageshack.us/i/step28uy.jpg/ Have in mind that this example was made with an Orc, you may change hue, saturations and lightning depending of the skin effect you want to get. Next: we cut, drag and scale the image layer containing you face on top of the orc texture, look at this image: http://img516.imageshack.us/i/step32xh.jpg/ Now we have to erase some portions of your face, so it matches the background texture: look at this one now: http://img516.imageshack.us/i/step49gh.jpg/ I suggest that you save this image as many times as possible during this process, you can save it in PSD format by now. In the end you will save it as .dds for encrypting. You pic Skills how many ++ you want the gear to be, you pick dyes and Clan skills And you can see the stats that class can have these you out..
