  1. When your subclass is level 75 depending on what the arch type it is you will only be able to pick class skills based on that archtype. Eg. If you level a Titan to 75 when you talk to the npc and you "redeem" your subclass for the new bonuses you can only pick from Warrior Passive and trigger skills. Warrior: Duelist, Grand Khavatari, Dreadnought, Fortune Seeker, Maestro, Titan, Soul Breaker, Berserker Rogue: Moonlight/Ghost Sentinel, Sagittarius, Wind/Ghost Rider, Adventurer, Arbelestor Knight: Phoenix Knight, Hell Knight, Shillean/Eva's Templar Summoner: Arcana Lord, Elemental/Spectral Master Nuker: Storm Screamer, Mystic Muse, Archmage, Soul Taker Healer: Cardinal, Eva/Shillen Saint Buffer: Spectral Dancer, Sword Muse, Heirophant, Doom Cryer, Dominator, Inspector Link: Additionally all Chance skills occur when the player attacks a target, all Counter skills occur when the player gets attacked by others. In both cases the chance/counter effect creates a buff that appears on the players buff bar. The buff is short lived typically around 10-30 seconds depending on what the skill is. Passive and Enhanced Passives are Stackable. Level 75 Archtype Passives and Trigger skills do not stack. Any skill can be untrained for 10,000,000 adena at the Ivory Tower NPC. Notes: You hit 65 on your sub - you can take 1 skill from the list on the left You hit 70 on your sub - you can take another skill from the left list (they stack) You hit 75 on your sub - you can take an enhanced passive (center left list - they stack with the 65,70 skills) or a class specific skill (center right skills) You hit 80 on your sub - you can take a class specific transformation (right list)

  5. All Kamael SAs work exactly the same as regular weapon SAs with the exception of cheap shot on bows/crowsbows. Cheap shot on a regular bow has a chance of reducing MP consumption during a general attack, cheap shot on kamael crossbows reduces MP consumption while using a skill, kinda like clarity. 7. First of all, these skills that you`ll obtain via leveling subclasses are usable only for the main class. There are lots of options so chosing the right configuration for your class is more complicated and implies a more complex thinking. Learning Abilities: It was mentioned before: - Subclass lvl 65: Main class can obtain a passive that increases atk/defensive strength - Subclass lvl 70: Main class can obtain a passive that increases atk/defensive strength - Subclass lvl 75: Main class obtains a skill , choice depends on subclass class-type. - Subclass lvl 80: Main class obtains a transformation, transformation type depends on subclass class-type. Application/Learning the skills: Each subclass can apply for the skills 4 times, 3 subclasses have a total of 12 skills, after application you will obtain a subclass skill book (untradable), you can then learn the skills on your main class accordingly. NOTES 1) "Applying for skills" will determine the skills you get according to class-type (of subclass), "learning skills" will allow you to choose from that list. 2) "Applying for skills" cannot be changed or reverted (note: this means that once you've applied for the skill on subclass that's it... no more changing the class-type... for this particular subclass anyway), "learning skills" can be undone/relearnt (note: you can re-choose the skills, but only within the allowed skills set by your subclass's class-type) If you have 3 subclasses it means you can apply for skills 12 times, after application, for example if my second subclass is a knight, level to lvl 75 and apply for skill, then I've chosen a knight-type application for skill and obtain a knight-type skill book, using this book you can learn a knight-type subclass skill, if you do not like the skill you've chosen you can unlearn the skill and choose from another skill from the knight-type skill list, but your "second lvl 75 subclass skill" is now set for knight-type skills, even if you remove the subclass you cannot apply for another set of skills (note: so if you removed the knight subclass and get a new subclass to lvl75, you won't be allowed to apply for skill again, although your main class can still learn and relearn the knight-type subclass skills) Class types: Subclasses are divided into 7 groups, the group also determines the type of transformation the main will get Warrior: Gladiator, Warlord, Warsmith, Bounty Hunter, Destroyer, Tyrant, Soul Breaker, Berserker Rogue: Silver Ranger, Phantom Ranger, Hawkeye, Plains Walker, Abyss Walker, Treasure Hunter, Arbalester Knight: Temple Knight, Shillien Knight, Paladin, Dark Avenger Summoner: Elemental Summoner, Phantom Summoner, Warlock Wizard: Spellsinger, Spellhowler, Sorcerer, Necromancer Healer: Bishop, Elven Elder, Shillien Elder Enchanter: Prophet, Warcrier, Overlord, Sword Singer, Bladedancer Lvl 65, 70: The skills you can learn at these 2 levels are the same, only 4 skills are available, you can choose the same skill at both levels the effects stack, you can even learn the same skill on other subclasses, potentially making a skill learnable for 6 times. Increase Patk: Tested with lvl 81 character base patk 937 lvl 1 - +22 lvl 2 - +20 lvl 3 - +18 lvl 4 - +15 lvl 5 - +14 lvl 6 - +10 Increase Matk: Tested with lvl 81 character base matk 1708 lvl 1 - +11 lvl 2 - +9 lvl 3 - +9 lvl 4 - +8 lvl 5 - +6 lvl 6 - +5 Increase Pdef: Tested with lvl 81 character base pdef 780 lvl 1 - +9 lvl 2 - +9 lvl 3 - +8 lvl 4 - +9 lvl 5 - +9 lvl 6 - +9 Increase Mdef: Tested with lvl 81 character base mdef 918 lvl 1 - +15 lvl 2 - +15 lvl 3 - +15 lvl 4 - +16 lvl 5 - +18 lvl 6 - +12 Lvl 75: There are many skills available at this level, regardless of whether the skill is a common skill or a class specific one, you can only choose *one* lvl 75 skill, with 3 subclasses you can choose 3 in total. Common skills: - Increase patk - Increase Pdef - Increase Matk - Increase Mdef - Increase Critical Rate - Increase casting speed Enchanter: - Counter Celestial: Chance of getting a 10s celestial shield when under attack - Increase MP: Increase max MP - Increase MP regen Wizard: - Resist magic: Increase chance to resist magic (works against normal nukes too) - Increase Recharge rate: Increase amount of MP recharged by recharge skill - Chance MP steal: Chance of MP being recovered when attacking Warrior: - Increase CP - Chance Haste: Chance of increasing attack speed when attacking - Resistance: Increase resistance against paralyse, root, sleep, trance, cancel...etc (i.e. debuffs) Summoner: - Counter .... : slightly increases patk, matk and casting speed - Increase HP/MP: increase max hp and mp - Resist elements: increase resistance against elemental attacks Knight: - Counter defense: Chance of increasing pdef/mdef when under attack - Increase HP: Increase max HP - Resist critical damage Healer: - Divine Protection: Increase resistance against holy and dark attacks - Counter Heal: Chance of healing yourself when under attack - Prayer: Increase HP recovered from heals (on self) Rouge: - Increase evasion - Chance critical: Chance of increasing critical rate when attacking a target - Long shot: increase bow attack range Lvl 80 Divine transformations The transformation type is determined by the subclass. If all 3 subclasses are different class-types you get 3 different types of transformations; but if you have a same-type subclass, you can *level up* the transformation, up to level 3 (because there are 3 max subclasses). Skill cancellation: If a player dislikes the skill chosen, the player can remove the skill for a fee of 10,000,000 You can only redeem a new skill not the new skill book, so if you had a knight-type skill book, after removing a knight skill you can only choose a knight skill after that.

  9. The backround fiction behind Lineage II is your typical Fantasy, three large kingdoms with ego problems and delusions of grandeur trip over their own feet to usurp power from one another. Gobs and gobs of internal strife complicate matters across the board, allowing the chance for all players to overthrow a few rulers and claim their own peice of the world. You won't be throwing anyone over in Lineage without a decent character, and Lineage II has plenty of options in that department. Five differnt fantasy races are available: Humans (Ok so there not fantasy, who cares!), Orcs, Elves, Dark Elves, and Dwarves. Newbie classes consist of little more than your basic warrior/mage. But you'll be able to pick more focused occupations later on. Each race and class combination has plenty of hairstyles and equipment textures which means the chance to dress up, or in more perverted cases, dress down, a female dark elf to your hearts content. Doing battle with the games randomly spawned monsters nets you experience and spell points. There used to buy new skills and occupations, you start with a limited selection of skills. and new skills become available when you get addidtion professions (3 so far ^^, Starting, 2nd, and Final). Sadly, Dwarf characters draw the short stick when it comes to spellcasting (aka, they can't), but they do make up for it with their amazing ability to craft items. This yeilds some of the games better items, so the Dwarf community rules Lineages econemy with an iron pudgy fist. Ruling and controlling is the name of the game in Lineage II, with much of the action being centered on player conflict. Not so fast, though, unprovoked attacks bring karma penalties, and too much negative karma will turn you into a bright cherry red target. Other players will then have an open license to finish you. Death brings experience loss(something very costly at high levels), along with a quick boot to the nearest town and the possible loss of a few precious items. Tread lightly, vicious Pkers (Player-Killers). If you're looking for better gear, there are plenty of NPC quests to undertake. One noteworthy mission rewards Level 35+ players with a dragon egg, which hatches into a cuddly dragonling pet, and later incubated into a mountable two legged "Strider", and eventually, after much effort (owning a castle *laugh*) a badass flying wyrven. Violence and NPC quests are just the tip of the iceberg and at its core, Lineage II is all about seige warfare.Setting seige on a castle results in a free-for-all, winner-takes-everything battle that anyone and everyone and can jump in on. Being lord of a castle grants you control over the local shopkeepers and castle defenses. Also considering, the longer you hold a castle, the harder it is to take. Fortunately, you can forge alliances and create many sub clans to help secure your holdings. Note: Lineage II has new downloadable expansions approximately every six months, right now we are into Chronicle 1. Newbie Tips: Do map quest right away, the map is the most valueable quest (not money wise) you'll always be lost without it, even if your pro. Always get weapon first! Never armor, Weapon first, armor last. Keep a few healing potions, they can be the reason you usually live when running, unless you dont mind losing valuable exp. Chat commands, ! shout, "(name) whisper, @ clan chat, # party chat, Theres also regular chat, thats nothing. Remember, Lineage 2 is a PVP Game. That means you have to have the guts to fight for every minute of your existence. Don`t be afraid to hit other players when it`s needed. ;>
  10. Door opens 0.00 gametime, closes 0.12 game time. Small window for entry. Break parties before enterring door, this is because if you dont 50% will dc back to giran, move inside just far enough so everyone gets inside before door closes, do not proceed further. Zaken is aggro and you can aggro him from this position. If you do, have one tank drag him deep into the ship and die, you can rez/brez him later. Next wait 1 hour realtime until 6am gametime then proceed deeper and find the pirate. Best to have a tank group with at least 3 tanks. Zaken randomly ports people who hit him about his ship usually into rooms filled with mobs. He also drains mp and hp. This gives you 2 more tanks after the main tank is ported before the shit hits the fan. 2-3 parties of nukers/bd/rechargers should do the trick for killing him, just keep them as far from him as possible. Take a few melees to deal with additional mobs to let the nukers just take zaken. Zaken randomly ports himself about the ship especially after taking damage. The ship has 3 floors and about 6 rooms per floor + corridors. On the north side of the ship are the stairs up/down. After he ports find him quickly, his regen is fast. Last thing to remember is to call a stop hit when hes low hp to allow the party carrying the crystals to finish him off. Zaken lvls crys 10-12 @ 100%, 9 crystals possible to the last hit group. Most dont like this raid as its designed for people 60-65 and takes quite some time. Many are put off by the 1 hour of nothingness sitting just inside the door, but this is necessary as during the night zaken is practically unkillable. Nukers are definately preferable to melee for zaken. He doesnt seem to port nukers about his ship so much, melees get ported almost all the time. In c4 we took a 77+SD with us to round up the lost people, I dont know if that tactic is still valid or if the bd gets raid cursed, but i suspect any mob inside ship counts as a minion of zaken so will probably cause raid curse
  11. Every race/class in Lineage 2 has basic attributes that diferenciate it from the other races, strenghts and weaknesses that get enhanced during the entire gameplay, and constitute the basic attribute of that race. These are the basics and also the defining attributes of every class. STR (STRENGTH) Affects P.Atk. stat through the strength modifier CON (CONSTITUTION) affects maximum HP and CP through the CON modifier affects HP recovery speed affects weight limit affects underwater breath gauge affects shock (stun) resistance affects bleeding resistance. DEX (DEXTERITY) Affects Atk. Spd., Critical and Speed stats through the DEX modifier each point of dex gained makes around a 1% difference to each of those three stats except at 43 DEX, where there is a jump of almost 2% affects both Accuracy and Evasion stats directly the amount gained through each point of dex varies, but as a general rule you can expect between .75 and .45 of accuracy and evasion per point of dex gained the more dex you have, the less of these two stats you will gain by adding to dex affects shield block rate Rumored to affect excellent shield defense rate INT (INTELLIGENCE) affects M.Atk. stat through the INT modifier INT modifier forthcoming affects curse land rates through M.Atk. This is the best way to see what are your races strenghts and weaknesess. BASIC STATS of every race in Lineage 2 The Changing Stats refer to the character atributes of every race in Lineage 2 after they`ve been modified using dyes or armor bonuses. Also, keep in mind that certain classes get bonuses if you invest in a particular attribute amount in time. This is a very usefull table to see the affect of modifying attributes in time. 12. Fishing offers a different experience from combat and leveling up. Not only is fishing a great way to relax, you can also catch ingredients for item creation. Fishing equipment and/or the Fishing skill can be acquired along with other newly added common skills from the Fisherman’s Guild Members dispatched at the grocery store or port of each town. You will need a Fishing Rod and lures to go fishing. These items can be bought from the store or earned through quests. Fishing rods and Fishing Shots exist by grade (no grade, D, C, B, A, S) and item damage will be applied according to grade. A penalty will be applied when using a fishing rod of a grade incompatible with your character level. You must master the Fishing skill in order to begin fishing. You can acquire Fishing, Reeling, Pumping, and Fishing Mastery skills by speaking with the Fisherman’s Guild Members stationed in each town or port. Although not essential for fishing, Fishing Shots will assist you with your fishing. Fishing Shots, like spiritshots and soulshots, can be accessed by double-clicking on them in inventory or registering with shortcuts. The Fishing Shot grade must be compatible to that of the fishing rod, and they can also be earned through quests. The Fishing Rod is equipped in the weapon slot and the bait in the left hand, like an arrow. Once you equip the rod and use the Fishing skill, you begin to fish. Once fishing is under way, the Fishing Window will display and an enlarged image of the bobber will appear. The fishing skills Pumping and Reeling determine fishing success. These skills can also be mastered by paying adena to the Fisherman’s Guild Members. Use the Reeling skill while the fish struggles and resists, and the Pumping skill while the fish is exhausted. When fishing is under way, the Fishing Window will display. When a fish begins to bite, the HP gauge of the fish and the time allotted to catch it will appear in the Fishing Window. Fishing is successful only if the HP of the fish drops to 0 before the time expires. Upon successful fishing, fish or treasure chests will be added to the inventory, fishing will end and the Fishing Window will close. When an attempt at catching fish fails, fishing will end and the Fishing Window will close. Fishing will also end if the Fishing skill is re-used during fishing. If you double-click on fish or treasure chests acquired while fishing, they will turn into other items. These items can be used in common crafting, and certain items can be exchanged for Proof of Catching a Fish with the Fisherman’s Guild Member. Fishing holes are home to fish abundant enough to enable fishing. Fish usually inhabit waters where the breathing gauge is displayed or regions with unique water quality such as the Goddard Hot Springs. Be wary, as monsters instead of fish may be caught with fishing! Increasing Fishing Mastery enables catching of higher grade fish. However, higher grade fish are stronger and brighter than lower grade fish, so advanced Reeling and Pumping skills are required to catch them. A Fishing Manual that provides fishing instructions can be purchased from the Fisherman’s Guild Member. Beginner tips will be provided when fishing with beginner bait. Beginner bait can be bought from the Fisherman’s Guild Member. If Reeling/Pumping skills exceed Fishing Mastery by more than 2 levels, a penalty will be imposed. Night Fishing Night fishing can be done from 12:00 a.m. to 06:00 a.m. (game time). Game time can be viewed by typing /time. Luminous Bait is necessary for night fishing and may be purchased through a Fishermen Guild Member. Luminous Bait can only be used at night. When fishing at night and using Luminous Bait, high quality (high-grade) fish will be tempted to bite. A high-grade fish can use deceptive skills unlike ordinary fish. When a high-grade fish uses its deceptive skills, reeling and pumping must be used in the opposite way in order to reduce the fish’s HP. Depending on its type, a high-grade fish may reward you with various “Fish Scale” drops. If you collect enough “Fish Scale” of the same type, you may bring them to a Fishermen Guild Member for additional rewards. Depending on your fishing mastery level, the types of high-grade fish that can be caught and rewarded fish scales will differ. Fisherman’s Potions The Fisherman’s Potion temporarily reduces a player’s fishing mastery level to catch a fish at a desired level. The potion may be purchased from a Fishermen Guild Member. If the potion's level is higher than the user’s fishing mastery level, the potion has no effect. The effect of using a Fisherman’s Potion lasts 60 minutes. The Fishing Potion restores a player’s fishing mastery level, which was lowered by the Fisherman’s Potion, back to the previous level. The Fishing Potion may be purchased from a Fishermen Guild Member. The Fishing Potion can take effect even though the Fisherman’s Potion was not used previously, therefore please exercise caution when using it.

  14. 1. Transformation Quest This quest is to get trasformation skills like unicorn, etc The quest starts in Hardins Academy, and it's called “More than meets the eye At npc named Hardin”. Once you started the quest, you will have to go visit Dark Elf Magíster Errickin in Hunters Village. He will say that you have to kill Mirrors and Ghosts in Forrest of Mirrors (you can travel by common GK from Hunters) in order to get 35 ectoplasmas. It`s pretty easy to kill them , the problem is that not every mob drops 1 quest item. It`s again another of those quests that just wastes your time. Once you get them, you bring them back to Errickin and he will send you back to Hardins When you talk to hardins, he will send you to Magíster Clayton in Dion Castle Town. You will find him in the dark elf guild. Clayton will say that he needs 5 Mordeo Crystals, which you can get killing Mordeos in Cruma tower. Mordeos are lvl 41 mobs so they won't be any trouble. You go back to Clayton and he sends you to Hardins again. You get back to hardins and the quest ends. The most annoying part is over. When you finish it, the reward is the right to talk to Avant Garde, who is the NPC where you can learn all the transformations. You can find him in the 2nd Floor human wizard guild of Ivory Tower. When you complete the queste 'More than meets the eye' you also get a Sealbook (which are the 'spelbooks' for the transformations). You get the Onyx Beast Sealbook To learn the transformation skill, its like learning any other skill. You talk to the NPC, and use the Learn skill option. Avant Garde has a lot of transformation skills to learn but you have to get the appropiate sealbook in order to learn them. Transformation lasts 28 minutes. (you can choose to cancel the current transformation at any time) and during that time, you wont be able to use your class skills, only the chosen transformation ones. Your def and atk stats will correspond to your weapon and armor. 2.How to get the rest of the sealbooks/transformations Death Blader You can get the sealbook with 660 000 Ancient Adena at any Black Marketeer of Mammon. You can get the following sealbooks trading them for Life Crystals: Apostle Grail can be purchased from the Guild Adventurer NPC in the Gludin Village Unicorn: can be purchased from the Guild Adventurer NPC in Oren Castle Village Lilim Knight can be purchased from the Guild Adventurer NPC in Oren Castle Village Golem Guardian can be purchased from the Guild Adventurer NPC in Schuttgart Castle Village Inferno Drake can be purchased from the Guild Adventurer NPC in Schuttgart Castle Village Dragon Bomber can be purchased from the Guild Adventurer NPC in Aden Castle Village 3. How to get Life Crystals Life Crystals you get by killing Raid Bosses or buying them from other players. Life crystals aren't difficult to find, because they are no other than the former 'Clan Skill Eggs ' which you get killing a raid boss, like Dragon's Heart, Angelic Escence, Memento mori, etc. that were used to get clan skills. To get Life Cristals for the sealbooks, you can trade those raid drops with the Adventures Guildman in this proportion: For example Dragons Heart A-Grade = 10 Life Crystals Dragons Heart Dragons Heart B Grade = 4 Life Crystals Dragons Heart Dragons Heart C Grade = 2 Life Crystals Dragons Heart Quest Finished. Enjoy Your Transformations
