that's what I say until opened, then antivirus detects and blocks the virus. Anyway executable viruses are not much of a threat I believe. That I say without having any knowledge on the matte, but clearly if you execute files you trust then no executable virus will ever harm your system.

what's the point? The moment you decrypt the file the antivirus is scanning your memory and in no time it will detect the malicious file if any. Besides, NOBODY would buy a tool that prevents antiviruses from scanning a file unless they have something to hide. ;)
