I know Nwatch and I also know it has security issues which have been exploited in other servers. Much better off to code your own than rely on Nwatch.

Well do a search for some reviews on the company on places like VPSBoard, webhostingtalk, hostingdiscussion. If a hosting company was stealing files they would not stay in business very long.

What do you mean preconfigured exactly? And yes I can only think of 2-3 providers (VPS, Cloud, Shared) in North America that do not resell from a datacenter, it's kinda the norm :) It's all about how you do it and if you can actually offer a solid, stable, redundant offering. Unfortunately most do not and they consider RAID a backup option.

Generally if they are using OVH or Voxility the protection is good. All of our servers are through OVH and we are ordering some at Voxility in the near future.
