  5. While this little wall of text here won't guarantee you won't get banned ever, I've still decided to sum up everything I've learned in the past, from both others and my own experience and mistakes and put them all in here. While I'm sure there are many other tips that could've been added and of which I haven't thought yet (and btw, feel free to comment and post them!), following these little pieces of advice can save you from getting your account banned. One thing I'd like to add before reading this - if you truly care enough about your account and you're not willing to risk a chance of let's say 1% of getting banned or even receiving a warning on it, please don't take your chances with it. I've been there and it was horrible. Luckily with the help of Fisher I've managed to overturn that ban, but one thing I know for sure - I'll never ever risk my main account for anything. Best tip would be to save some cash and actually buy yourself a second account. Trust me, it's worth it and it will pay for itself sooner or later, in gold or actual cash. Avoid getting banned for buying gold Should you ever decide to buy or sell WoW gold, you should be aware of a few tips that could save them from getting banned, suspended or ending up with the in-game transaction reversed. However, I won't get into the details regarding any gold selling websites or any of the issues that can occur from buying gold from a specific website, but instead I will approach the subject from Blizzard's and the gaming community's points of view. First of all, and maybe even the oldest trick in the book, is to use a VPN (Virtual private network - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) and assign yourself the IP of a completely different country than yours. The reason why this tip is one of the most common ones around is that shall you ever get caught by Blizzard purchasing or selling gold or any other items and end up getting banned, you can always submit a ticket (preferably one or two days after the incident), from your own home IP address and claim you have been hacked and the person who gained access to your account used it to buy or sell gold or items. Another useful tips who falls under the range of an alleged hack claim would be to disable (if it's enabled) your mobile authenticator, since even if an account is still hackable through authenticator, Blizzard will likely deny that and claim you've framed yourself for the account hack, so it's in your best interest to turn it off a few days or weeks before buying or selling gold. Second of all, from my own experience, the safest way to buy or sell gold is via the in-game Auction House system. This means that if you want to buy gold, the gold seller will instruct you to post an item (preferably not some grey thing and rather some nice green/blue item that can be used for twinks or transmog) and they will buy it off you from the Auction House for the amount of gold you've settled, or otherwise if you're selling to them. However, if you decide not to use the Auction House and instead go with the face-to-face trade, the chances of getting banned for buying or selling gold decrease dramatically when you're trading using a higher level character instead of a level 1, and even to another higher level character (for instance, trading from a level 90 character to a level 57 or even a level 90 one). If you can make sure you can accomplish this point, it would be great if you could even throw a few random items in that game trade window (if you decide to buy/sell gold using a face-to-face transaction via in-game trade) so it looks like you're actually buying or selling some items for actual in-game currency, which is perfectly legitimate. Also, you should discuss it with the gold seller/buyer to meet somewhere else rather than at the local capital city's bank where every level 15 scrub can point at who's buying gold and who's not. Pick up a different and remote location, outside the capital city or even inside, in some tavern. You should not discuss anything at all regarding buying or selling gold in game, especially with the guy you're buying or selling it to, unless he's really fluent in English and can play along as your friend or a legit WoW player who sold you some items! Third of all, you should try and avoid buying or selling large amounts of gold at one time and rather buy or sell less and more often. Last but not least, even if I won't advertise any such websites involved in gold selling or buying, you should however make sure you're conducting the transaction with a highly legitimate website, one that preferably uses their own VPN in case they are Asian or in case their own IPs are being already tracked by Blizzard and a company whose employees are fluent in written English, just so you be sure they understand what you want and the way you want perfectly. Avoid getting banned for botting If you were to use any such botting or 3rd party softwares, the first and probably the most common advice would be to not get greedy about it, and rather see it as a long-term investment, meaning that you shouldn't bot 24/7 but instead take often and random breaks for it. One of the most important keys when it comes to WoW bots is to make your botting character look and behave as human as possible, both in-game and in real life. Your in-game character should have a decent and level appropriate gear equipped even while leveling using a bot, because seeing a level 87 character trying to quest or grind mobs in level 59 gear seems weird enough to be deemed a bot by any pair of eyes. You should try and personalize your botting character as much as you can, meaning a nice transmog, a pretty decent title, and some less common riding mounts. A few achievements, especially the quest related ones would also decrease the risk of you getting banned for botting. Also, while this might be a pretty common sense advice, you should also be aware that having a normal looking name will also help you bot safely comparing to having some random name obtained by bashing your face into the keyboard or having a chimpanzee typing it for you. Your real life botting routine should be exactly what it sounds - a real life routine, meaning as a normal human being, you shouldn't be online 18 hours a day, everyday, just mining ores and collecting herbs while ignoring everyone and taking scheduled trips to the mail and back, while allegedly urinating in a bottle near your computer, so basically somewhere along the lines of 6-8 hours of botting a day should be okay. Think of it that less is more. Even if Blizzard might not be watching you, other players may and they will most likely report you which can lead to your account getting banned. Another very important tip about botting safely is to try and supervise it as much as you can. Use a second monitor or a laptop and try and look at it as much as you can make sure you're not being followed around by people, getting stuck or flying around with your AFK on. You should also alternate your profiles (preferably use customized ones over public ones), your farming spots and even your routine, meaning you shouldn't login and logout at the same hours every day, and rather do a few random logouts during your daily botting session as well as do a random quest or dungeon by yourself every now and then. You should also choose your farming spot carefully and not use your bot in crowded areas or during peak hours unless you can completely supervise it. You should pay attention to what people talk in the general area chat, as well as whispers or emotes you may receive and preferably reply to them. You should engage in random discussions in your guild or with friends every now and then while botting just to remind everyone you're not just sitting there in the dark for hours and not saying anything. While I won't advertise any bots, it's recommended you use a highly safe bot with good support and regular updates (make sure you always check for updates of both WoW and the bot before running the automated software). Since most of the times WoW botting and Auction House exploitation go hand in hand, again, you shouldn't get greedy when it comes to selling what you farm by botting. You should either look for a trustable buyer who will take the goods off your hands or sell them at the Auction House, little by little, without drawing attention on yourself and without destroying your servers' market. Also you should really act and behave like you've worked to gain the goods you're selling, meaning if everyone is selling a stack of ores for 100 gold, you shouldn't get gold horny and just sell it for 50 gold a stack. Of course, if your buyer is willing to buy more from you directly, you can make a decent discount to let's say 85-90 gold per stack. Also, the VPN and the hack claim work just as well for any botting related bans. Just make sure not to mess up when you're logging on your own personal account (assuming you have a main account and a botting one) from the same botting VPN IP. This is pretty much what I could come up with off the top of my head. If you guys would like to hop in and add more tips, feel free to do it! Best wishes!

Use a Minimum type of DD to get Agro on them, stack them up and Kill them. 2) Looting them can be... Painfull since we are Under water, and AOE looting doesnt exaclty get them all as u gotta swim near others. 3) If done Correctly, you should be making roughly 10+ stacks every 5 minutes. + Chests + greens. 4) See Image Below, of how it looks when killing. ::: NOTE ::: All mobs, in WoW Will DESPAWN after 5 Minutes. 8. In order to get to this spot some might have to do some quests. This spot works for both Horde & Ally. Step 1) Fly to Twilight Highlands, and go to this quest starting area. Quest:A Coward's Due - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft ( LINK ) ->IF you have " Mathias Command " ( Quest:Mathias' Command - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft ) Then fly to the Quest turn in, and turn it in. WoWikki - If you scroll down, you will see the Quests in that chain, Click the First Or Last quest in the chain, and scroll to the Top and on the RIGHT side you will see a Blue Box, which says the Details Click --- NEXT, or PREVIOUS to get to the NEXT quest chain or the Previous Quest Chain. 1) Starting from " A Cowards Due " ( If you have NEVER done quests in Twilight Highalnds) a) Quest:A Coward's Due - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft - Starting Quest ( If you dont see this quest, you have either DONE quests in this chain, and need to go forward , look where the Quests are, or Backwards - Only seen 1 person have to go backwards. ) b) Quest:The Kirthaven Summit - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft ( Next Chain ) c) Quest:The Maw of Madness - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft ( Neext Chain ) d) Quest:Warm Welcome (Alliance) - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft ( Next CHain ) Quest:Warm Welcome (Horde) - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft ( HORDE ) ( these quests Lead up to Mathias Command / Patchwork Command ) Step 2) Quest Chains ( from Mathias Command - Alliance ) / ( Patchwork Command - Horde ) a ) Quest:Mathias' Command - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft Horde- Quest:Patchwork Command - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft b) Quest:And the Sky Streaked Red - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft C) Quest:Victors' Point - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft ( HORD) Quest:Crushblow - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft --- DONT COMPLETE THE CHAIN --- d) Quest:Four Heads are Better than None (Alliance) - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft -- This is the quest you want to get to. Step 3) Once you geet to " Four Heads are Better then None " STOP! - DO NOT TURN IT IN. Complete this quest - Kill the 4 mobs, and get their heads in your Inventory / bank, You will now notice, all the mobs have STACKED on top of eachother outside the cave. This is the spot! When you Complete " Four Heads are Better then None " ( Dont turn it in! )(Turning in really doesnt effect the farm the mobs are still stacked) You will need : Potion of Treasure Finding Tailoring / enchanting ( Enchanting / tailoring can be on other chars, i believe theres no Cloth % Increase in Cata ) Step 4) When you Finally get to the spot, all you need to do is fly in a BIG clockwise Circle. First 2 packs , kil them, at the TOP of the hill u see 2 more to theLEFT, Dont kill them , skip and keep flying, on the far LEFT theres 1 pack you cant see from the start - Kill this pack, then kill the 2 packs you Skipped, and continue your Clockwise Circle. LOOTING: I personally only kill the packs of mobs if they have 3+ more adds. But you can kill them anyway you would like, and I loot them after every pack kill so they do not disappear. 9. Ok, so I'm going to cover off a few things in this guide, so it's going to broken down into parts. Part 1: Changing your MAC Address. Part 2: Using VPN/VPS to hide your IP Address. Part 3: Using Proxifier and Putty to hide your IP Address. Part 4: Using a DNS service to access specific services outside of your country/ Part 1 Now, I'm mainly a WoW player and bot accounts that I can afford to lose. My main on the other hand I don't want to risk. To minimize my potential loss I make my network adapter use a different MAC Address for the bot when I connect to WoW and use my default (original) MAC address when I log in with my main. In terms of achieving this you will need to download this MAC address changer (link below), install it and then run it prior to connecting. It's pretty straight forward in terms of operation. You pick a MAC address from the list (use the same one each time if you want to avoid multiple authenticator checks) when you want to bot. When you want to play on your main account just revert it back to the default MAC address. Technitium MAC Address Changer v6 (FREEWARE) Part 2 So great, we've changed our MAC address but our IP is still the same! So one thing we can do is use a VPN. There is a tonne of VPN's out on the market you can use something like Hotspot Shield, CyberGhost and many others, they all work. Features of VPN's Include: Encrypts all your network traffic data. Masks your IP address from ISPs & snoopers. Gives you private and anonymous browsing. Keeps your identity private. Provides Wi-Fi security at hotels, airports, coffee shops, etc. Protects you from Malware, as well as Infected, Spamming, and Illegal Phishing sites. Virtual Locations in the U.S., U.K., & Australia and the rest of the world! So you can apply this to more than WoW so have a nice think about that! Part 3 If you want to be a little more low-key you can purchase a dedicated server or virtual machine and run a tunnel through that. It might be a little advanced for many users on this forum but I will direct you to an easy setup link below! If you do go down this course you will need a copy of Proxifier and Putty. If theres enough interest in this I can elaborate much more so make sure you post! How to set up SSH (for the beginner) Part 4 A little off topinc when it comes to gaming, but if you live outside of the US/UK there are a few services which are only accessible while you are in that country of residence. NetFlix, Hulu, CBS, ABC, MTV, theWB, CW TV, CracklE, NBC, FOX, TV.com, PBS, Vevo, History, myLifetime, LogoTV, Crunchyroll, DramaFever, Discovery, Spoke, A&E, VH1. Just to name a few. Now many people think tunneling is the way to go! It isn't! There are many services which can fake your location by only changing your DNS! One of my favourite (and free!) is Tunlr. It will spoof your location to be in either the US or UK for access to those relevant channels. You just need to know the DNS addresses which can be found here Tunlr So ok, we have the DNS addresses but how do we change them? I recommend DNS Jumper (link below)! It's really easy to use and it's again, free! Just get the addresses from the link above and then input them into DNS Jumper and Apply (remember to hit the Flush DNS button after). Close and reopen any applications you wish to use with the new DNS and Voila! DnsJumper And that's it guys! Enjoy! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Updated DNS Bypass list http://www.unotelly.com/unodns/ http://www.unblock-us.com/ https://www.blockless.com/
  10. Update: With the release of Pt.2 to this guide, I'd like to announce my return to the Ownedcore community. ;) IMPORTANT: For those of you wanting to learn resale in the transmog market from a reputable source, you can do so now as part of the AH Playas Service. For the price of a Wendies Baconator. Check it out here. First off Whats new: (If you haven't been around for part 1, then go ahead and skip this section) In the short time span since the release of the first version of this guide, there have been many unprecedented changes to the original auctioning strategy. For one, TUJ is no longer in use – and will probably be down well into the days of WOD. Which is fine. Since there are other pricing sources that we can use to get our auctions up and flowing. So all is good in that respect. And even still, TUJ continues to flourish, as there has been some shining light over the developers blog. I'll continue to keep an eye on them and track their progress over time. Maybe they'll return sooner than we think! Whos knows! This guide, is almost identical to the original, with the exception that it will show you how to harvest this new pricing source to sell your items for that inflated tooltip price! (I've also removed MANY errors that would have otherwise tripped players up. Also at the end of this guide, I've tagged on an additional FAQ to better help players get acquainted with the new TSM pricing source. So lets not waste any time. There's much gold to be made. But very little time. And every goblin knows.. time is money. Guide Start: This guide will give you enough ammunition to take you from selling barely any farm drops, to selling thousands of golds in BOE’s every single day. It addresses the biggest issues in the farming community, and aims to take players from one end of the gold making spectrum to the other- with practical actionable advice. If you skim through it, you may come up with a few hidden gems, however if read from start to finish (with intent to implement) I can just about guarantee you, that you’ll make far more gold than the rest of the farming population. As it’s what I teach when I consult & write gold guides for players who are willing to pay for them. This Gigantic Post Will Teach You: How to sell your farmed BOE items for what players call the “inflated tooltip price” Why Splitting your time 50/50 between the AH and your farming spot(s) is far superior than the Traditional 80/20 Farm to AH split. (And how to go about doing this yourself) Why adding diversity to your farm profile will make you more gold, even if there’s a current farm that “trumps them all” How you can post your auctions up to 10x faster. Far faster than the general population who only seem to know of auctioneer & auctionator as the only auction house add-ons available. Why players claim a farm is “10,000g per Hour when in reality most people only make 1,000g or so. If not much less. And Most Importantly.. The underlying thinking process that separates two types of farming players: “The Casual Farmer & The Dedicated Auctioneer.” The mystery behind why one type of player seems sell farm drops for insane prices while the others collects scraps… So What Happens When I Understand This? It’ll take you from just “praying” that your farm drops sell into “knowing” without a doubt that they’ll all eventually go (and make huge profits for you), so that the time you spent farming, is never spent in vain. We’ll go over how you can get your greens to sell for the tooltip prices, WHY it seems that only some players can sell them for that much, and what you can do right now to get the same results. As a bonus, we’ll go over the two farming archetypes that all players fall into. As I explain them, you’ll probably be able to identify yourself with one or the other. Of course there are many shades of gray, but for the most part, players usually fall on the extreme of both terms. But enough speculation, lets get into it! Casual Farmer or Dedicated Auctioneer Right now ill state that the dedicated auctioneers makes much more gold than the casual farmer by nature. Most of you reading this will no doubt relate with the casual farmer. Hopefully by the end of this post, you’d made the decision to change that. Casual Farmers: As their name implies, tend to be more casual players. Regardless of the ill associations with the word, being “casual” isn’t the reason why they make less gold with farm drops. The lack of understanding the auction house is. Casual Farmers usually have enough time to make thousands of gold pretty easily, in the same amount of time their already spending on WoW. For them the real problem is knowing how, and actually believing it’s possible. Which is difficult for them, since casual farmers usually have habits that sabotage their gold making.. such as: Sticking to a single farm until the nerf hammer hits it. Farming a spot to the point of over-saturation. Having cynical views towards various AH based tooltips in defense that they’re “inflated.” (Because Of course, green drops can never sell for that high, especially not on their server) And the most important 2: Selling items far below their actual value. The biggest gold making mistake ever And posting too few times to make any sales. The second biggest gold making mistake ever. Players with these habits make up the majority of the farming population. Which means, most, if not all the general farming population could be making tons more gold, in the same amount of time, if they took a couple of days out to get up-to-date on the latest auction house technology. But now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, lets discuss their extreme opposites.. Dedicated Auctioneers: are very similar to casual farmers, with one exception – They’re auction house saavy. Dedicated auctioneers are more times than not, convinced 100% that whatevers on their tooltips, is the price an item will sell for in the auction house. And with good reason. Those same item sales continue to fund pretty much everything in Warcraft, from mounts, to repairs and more. I am one of them. To be clear, here are the main characteristics that a dedicated auctioneer usually has: We usually know about, and farm many different spots. We do this to diversify our profile and expand our loot to reach more customers. (It also prevents over-saturation). we are never worried about a spot getting nerfed, and actually welcome it, knowing it will decrease competition dramatically. Which is good news, since we have a surplus of items from before the farm was nerfed. Usually upload auctions consistently. Times do vary. But at the very least, 3 times a week as the minimum When we obtain a larger stock (800+) we do eventually scale back and post less– as gold is no longer an issue, and making it seems pointless (Unless we like the feeling of having more than everyone else, or it’s a hobby of some sort) Often have an abundance of 200+ items being uploaded at a time, for their full AH price (As displayed on the tooltips). Eventually we start to spend more time in the AH as they realize that it’s where the real gold is made. (And the funny thing is – sometimes when casual farmers insist on lowering their prices – dedicated auctioneers may buy them out and sell them for the tooltip suggested price) But still, with all of that said, it still doesn’t answer the question of WHY. Why do dedicated auctioneers make more gold then casual farmers when they have access to the same stock? The real answer is, Dedicated auctioneers upload their auctions everyday. Short and simple. Casual Farmers don’t. It’s not because casual farmers are lazy, it’s because they think posting auctions is a inefficient use of their time. Past experience has taught casual farmers that farmed BOE’s simply won’t sell right away – so posting them is boring and yields no rewards. What casual farmers cant see is that once you have a nice sum of auctions constantly being uploaded (say 150 or more) then they’ll start to sell a very small portion every single day. It’s the most important thing to you’ll ever learn about gold making. The thing is, it’s not that the farming greens don’t sell, it’s that the time in which they do sell is 100% random. Seriously. That green sword you found yesterday during your ZF farm may take 3 months or more to sell. But it will sell. Someone who’s uploading auctions consistently knows this, and just adds it to their auctioning pool, then waits for a sale. Very much like fishing. It’s a completely different mindset than the casual farmer, who watches their auctions with a hawks-eye praying that today is the lucky day someone swoops it up. And its a shame, because if they knew how easily amassing hundreds of greens actually is… to a point where you can get drip-feed sales everyday, they’d never send any of the greens to the vendor again. So bluntly speaking, the more auctions you are consistently uploading, the more gold you will make and the more you can charge. (Because you really don’t care if the auction sells today or even next Christmas) Your making gold everyday and you love’ it. Period. Which means: You won’t lower prices to supplicate to buyers. Ever. If they want it, they will pay for it. Full price. Actually I kinda have a rule for giving an estimate at how much of my auctions will sell.. and even though It’s not 100% completely accurate, it holds some truth to it. Here it is: Out of any given day, given that you have 100+ items to upload to the auction house, 7% of your auctions WILL sale. (Given that you’ve priced them correctly) Most folks will say “just 7%?”.. but they don’t know how great 7% actually is. Especially since you can post 1000 auctions or more in under 30 minutes with today’s auctioning technology. (This will imply that with 1000 auctions 70 will sell. Which is not true, it’s actually a random mix.) With 1,000 auctions I may sell about 55 of them and make anywhere between 9,000g-20,000g) everyday just by posting for 30-45 minutes.)) It really is no sweat, almost auto-pilot profits. All you have to do is farm and post. There are times when I can come out with 50k+ a week and not do any farming. Just uploading the drops from old farms / the things I found on the AH for cheap. So before you continue you need to get this down: 1) You can sell “Pioneers legplates of the monkey” for 145g, the inflated tooltip price 2) You can upload hundreds of auctions everyday without spending hours doing so. 3) You can cut your farming time in half (to invest in auctioning) and make 10x more profits Learn this and you are more than half way there. This is where it gets practical, so first let me lay the tools all out on the table. The following are the current tools I use to get the full job done. From identifying item prices, to posting 1,000+ items in under an hour, and even collecting what seems to be pages of sold auctions. Some of these you may have seen before, others will most definitely be new. Here they are: Price Identification: Auctioneer / The TSM Desktop APP Auctioning: Tradeskill Master, Tradeskill Master Auctioning,Tradeskill Master Mailing, Miscellanous: Moggit There are other, and more complicated combinations. However, this is what I’ve found to be the most simple and straight forward way to go about it. For the means of explaining what they are, I urge you to visit each add-ons download pages to get an overview. But here’s a brief explanation: Auctioneer: Auctioneer is basically the auction house add-on we’ll use to sell our items. It provides basic functionality with some perks that aren’t available with the original AH interface. The TSM Desktop App: This is our bread and butter. One of the most amazing gold making apps available. This add-on gives us accurate pricing data for our tooltip – right from TSM’s Auction DB. It even updates the tooltips prices all by itself. Since the undermine journal is officially closed, this app serves as it’s well needed replacement. It will allow us to sell our items automatically - based on very accurate prices supplied by blizzards API. I know all the technical jargon sounds complicated, but really it isn’t. Once you get the desktop app set up – you’ll see how lightweight and easy it is to get it to function. Just download the add-on at the website, tell it what server to give you auction house data for, and you are all set. Tradeskill Master: Tradeskill master is the system that will allow us to post all of our items automatically, in very little time. It has many uses, however our primary purpose in this scenario is to post our auction with very little effort (without having to waste time setting the prices ourselves). Moggit: Provides a very pretty character model in out tooltips. It allows us to see what items look like without having to inspect them manually. — So the set up looks like this: Download these: Auctioneer / The TSM APP / Tradeskill Master, Tradeskill Master Auctioning /Tradeskill Master Mailing, / Moggit / Tradeskill Master Auction DB Note: The TSM app has a small downloading process! I made a video to walk you through. Here we go! (Ill start a new thread on this since I CAN ONLY INCLUDE 1 VIDEO PER POST.) But now since we got everything set-up, that doesn’t mean it’ll come working right out of the box. Lets get over to configuring them.. When you log in, the first thing you’ll notice is how beastly looking your tooltips are. They should be overweight and bloated, but with the right trimming, you can slim them down. What I did was disable a number of settings in TSM that cut a majority of the clutter from my tooltips. To do the same, just open the TMS panel with “/TSM” – then go over to the third tab labeled “Item Tooltips”. Disable these checkboxes: The finished tooltip should look something like this: You may have to uncheck other modules in the tooltip settings to get something that looks this clean. Play around with the tabs shown in the picture above – check and uncheck things until you get a tooltip that your happy with. For the most part you want to get a tooltip that displays the items “Global Market Value Median” since that’s what we’ll be using to determine the true value of an item. But now that that’s done, lets get into setting up TSM so we can sell out auctions – FAST. Setting Up TSM To Sell Your Auctions FAST: TSM is what allows you to post auctions at insane speeds. You will need it when you start to gather your arsenal of farm drops. While it may seem intimidating at first, using it is actually really easy. And much more efficient than posting manually. Actually if it we’re not for TSM the whole “dedicated auctioneer” concept would be dead anyway. The point is to post your auctions without taking up too much time. If you spend loads of time just posting auctions, then your are missing the point entirely. Essentially, by the end of this section, we’ll turn TSM into our personal auction house posting machine… And profit immensely because of it. So to get TSM to sell things for us, we really only have to do 3 things: 1) Tell it which items to sell for us (Create a group in TSM) 2) Tell it for what prices to sell them for (Create an operation in TSM) 3) Go to the auction house and sell them. (Post With TSM) Once that’s done, your only real worry is to get more items and make sure your stock never runs out. Step 1: Telling TSM which items to sell for us (Creating A Group) A group is a huge list of items. Simply it’s a big list that tells TSM which items to sell for you (Basically A List of all our farming drops) This step is by far the most simple, and probably the most productive. Since once you tell TSM what drops to sell, it remembers it forever and you no longer have to tell it again. Simply Open TSM with /TSM. Then on the upper left hand side click groups. This screen should pop-up asking you to give your first group a name. Lets call it “All auction house wares”. Type that in and hit enter. TSM will then ask you to create an operation. An operation is just a command string that tells TSM how to post your auctions. You can set the duration, fallback prices, contingency plans, min/maximum prices and more! And don’t worry, if “command string” sounds complicated – it’s not. Actually it’s really easy to set up. Here’s how it will look on your screen after you enter your group name: Right under where it says “auctioning”, click “Create Auctioning Operation” The screen will change to this: It will ask you to name your operation first. Lets call it “Sell all farmed greens”. Hit enter and your good. TSM will ask you “if you want to apply this operation to the group you just created”. You don’t have to understand what this means right now. For the moment just Hit yes / okay. After hitting yes, you’ll be taken to the operation main menu. You’ll see a bunch of tabs here called “general” “post” “cancel” “reset” “relationships” “management” – Click “Post” And boom. Just like that, your taken to the instruction manual behind your item posting system. Whatever values you enter here will determine how all your stock gets posted. So this step is very important. Pay close attention. The way we’ll configure this page will allow the TSM APP and TSM to communicate so that we can effectively post our auctions without setting any prices ourselves. How? First off, we’re going to tell TSM to post all of our items using the global market median price. Which is a big win for us because: 1) The global market median reflects the real value of an item (eliminating the guess work) 2) We’ll never have to manually price our auctions again. Ever. 3) Time saved is astronomical. (AS-TRO-NOM-ICAL) To do this’ we’ll have to enter the following values in the specified fields. To avoid confusion, ill lay them out for you and explain what each one means. Ill also provide a screenshot of my settings for the more visual folks out there. Enjoy. Auction Settings: Duration: 24 Hours (Leave as is) Post Cap: 1 (Change to 500) Stack Size: 1 (Leave as is) Keep Quantity: 1 (Leave as it) Auction Price Settings: Bid Percent: 100% (Leave as is) Undercut Amount: 1c (Change to 1g) Optional Now it’s time for the post price settings. These settings use a code that allow TSM to read it’s AuctionDB data. Which is epic all the way. Your add-ons will start to work together to create fully oiled profit system. The following code we’ll input, -“DBGlobalMarketMedian” is just telling TSM to sell your items for the global market median price. Which is based on the TSM App’s global market data (Which you’ve downloaded earlier, remember?) Here’s the settings: (Copy what in quotation marks into the specified fields) Minimum Price: 30% DBGlobalMarketMedian Normal Price: 100% DBGlobalMarketMedian Maximum Price: 150% DBGlobalMarketMedian When Below Minimum: “Post At Minimum Price” When Above Maximum: “Post For Maximum Price” And your done! With that set up you just saved yourself dozens of hours of auctioning time. And possibly just set-up the most important gold making system ever invented. But lets explain what we accomplished here. “DBGlobalMarketMedian” looks scary and complicated right? Well don’t worry, all it means is “TSM’s global market median”. Which is the median price across all servers (A very accurate metric for determining an items value). We gave TSM instructions to post based on this value. That’s all. So now when we post an item, TSM will make 1 of many things happen! (You don’t have to read this section. It explains what TSM will do, it might be confusing to newbies – so if you are new to this just skip it and go ahead and start posting. You’ll learn what it does with practice) TSM will: 1) Check if someone has your item in the auction house. If not it will post for 95% of the global market median price. (That’s what we told it to do in our Normal Price Setting) 2) If someone does have it, TSM will undercut them by 1g (That’s what we told it to do in our Undercut Amount Setting) 3) If someone has our item in for WAY Overpriced, TSM will post it at our maximum price of 150% Global Market Median (That’s what we told it to do in our Above Maximum Price Setting). 4) If someone has the item in for WAY too low, TSM wont post the item at all (That’s what we told it to do in our Below Minimum Price setting) Simple. Now all that’s left is adding our farm items to our group and we’re ready to start posting. Adding Our Farm Items To Our Groups: This step is telling TSM what exactly to sell. Like I said before, we only need to do this once. Once done TSM will remember to sell it forever. First you want to click “Groups” represented by the big blue shiny crystal in the upper left hand corner. The group we created earlier should show up. We named it “All auction house wares”. Click that, then click the tab called items. Ill show it to ya in this small screenie. Now a huge smorgasbord of items will pop up. These are the items in your inventory. Click all the greens / farm drops you want to sell in the auction house and click add. Your done. After you add your items to the group, mail to a bank alt. It will make retrieving the items easier for the next step. Quick tip: Check the box “Ignore random enchants on ungrouped items” You’ll thank me later. The last step: Posting our farm drops. So we got everything set up. It’s time for the gold to start pouring in. In this step we post all our items at lightning speeds using TSM. Take as much greens as you can to the auction house. It’s better if you mail them to an alt. It’s cleaner and allows you to stay organized. The biggest benefit to this is that all your items will sit in the mailbox into your ready to post them. Now head on over to the auction house. And talk to the auctioneer. You will see these new tabs there. Click on the blue “auctioning” one. A screen should then pop up with the group we created. If you see it, then so far so good. Now, just hit start post scan and thats it. TSM will start scanning the auction house so it can post all your goods correctly. And another good thing is as TSM scans, auctioneer will start to update it’s own data. The only thing left is to SPAM that post button. Spam it. Now. If you told TSM to not post items below the minimum (against my instructions) The large majority of your auctions will be posted right away. The rest won’t. Why? Because some items are too underpriced to undercut. We told TSM that when items are below our minimum price (30%) below the global market median, to not post those items. You can still post them however. All you have to do, is move on over to the auctioneer tab called “post”, then drag n drop. Easy. Which is very viable since auctioneer also updates it’s data as TSM scans. Meaning it will also have the most recent prices. So for the items that won’t sell.. Just post them quickly using auctioneer under the “post” tab. Alternatively, if you don’t mind selling for a bit less, you can make your minimum price lower in the auctioning operation section. Something like 10% DBGlobalMarketMedian will make it so that you almost always post everything. To show you how this entire posting process looks, of course, I made a video. That should be more than enough for you to digest, but to make it simple, lets recap everything in a FAQ: Q: Whats the most helpful thing I can do to make more gold from farms: A: Getting down a system to sell your drops is by farm the best thing you can do. It organizes everything so you can just post and forget. I believe just learning TSM alone will do more for than any guide when it comes to gold making. Q: So if it is possible to sell items for the global market median price, how come It never get any sells? A: Most likely because your aren’t posting consistently & you don’t have enough auctions. The game of selling auctions get better with he more stock you have. Yes it will seem random at times, but it much like playing a local lottery or “number hole” the more tickets you have, the more likely you’ll get a hit. Q: So I can just sell any farm drop I get? A: Yeah. What you do is send the items to an alt. Don’t even think about it until your ready to auction. Don’t sell any of the greens right away. Let them mass up on an alt, and when your ready start posting them. Then log in the next day and collect the sales. Q: What if I don’t get any sales and you just waste my time? A: Most likely that won’t happen. I have shown many players the same system and the majority of them always send me good news. Yes there are servers that are REALLY bad on the auction house, ill admit – but those servers have such a low population, that the players still there are better off moving than trying to make gold. Q: So this will work on any realm except low pops? A: Yes and no. Don’t use the above answer as an excuse. I’ve actually cleaned up selling goods on low pop realms like tortheldrin and onyxia. This can work on low pops as long as you have an active auction house. Thats usually the case if your on a low pop, but the majority of players are on a single faction. Q: Are There any other methods? What about TSM snatch lists, Warehousing & more? A: This was a basic guide intended for teaching the anti-auctioning farm crowd. Those are for a different topic. Q: Can I use auctionator or any other auctioning system? A: Yes you can. I don’t know if auctionator or other systems can use TUJ for a pricing mechanism, but the real meat and potatoes it done with TSM and TUJ. Q: How much greens should I collect before I start auctioning? A: I’d say at least 200 or so. 200 being the least. And make sure you mix those greens up from everywhere. DO NOT try to auction 200 greens from the same farm. It won’t work. Q: Just farming? Can I acquire greens from other means? A: Yes. The auction house. Once you start to categorize items by the pricing points on the tooltips, you no longer have to farm to collect greens. You can just stay in the auction house. Actually, you basically go 80% auctioneer full time. It’s less “fun work” but yields more profits. The endgame here is to get to a point where your so comfortable with selling items by price that you can just use the AH entirely. And only go farm when people are posting anything good. Q: It sounds like alot of work, does it really take less time? A: In the beginning yes, it will be alot of work and confusion. I don’t know a soul who understood how TSM and auctioneer worked on their very first try. You will mess up and probably screw up a thing a two but its all worth it. Especially since you’ll get to point where you literally don’t have to do anything and wake up to 5k or more gold everyday. Q: Whats number of item should I aim for: A: With my current stock I’m comfortable at just 500 auctions. Anything less than that and I farm or auction hunt for a little bit. With 500 auctions It’s like 3,000g guaranteed (minimum) and 8,000g on the high side. When I’m at 800 (when I play more) it’s like 5,000g minimum and 20,000g on the high side. I don’t see much 20k days, but they do happen. (I should get screenshots of that) Q: I’m on the fence about giving this a shot.. should I take a chance on it? A: Hell yes. Action Steps For The Bold If you want to try this out for yourself, just go and farm. Farm some BC instances, then some Pre TBC instances, mix up some, and then go wrath instances and finally hit cata. Collect all the greens you find doing dailies, instances, and leveling as well.. load them into your TSM and go HAM. The more you got the better off you are. I can’t make any promises to anyone about how much gold they will make, but I assure you, if your not doing this or aren’t using TSM / Auctioneer already, you will come out making more gold. As for the auctioning side.. Where gold is made by the 10s of thousands.. I do teach this in my other gold guides. And I’m pretty sure the rest of the forum knows where to get them. - Steven Important Questions Asked From The Old V1: Q: Steve my auctions are taking up alot of AH fees! I need help. What should I do??? A: Easy! If you really feel that theres no way in heck an item will sell on the AH, then get rid of it in any means necessary. Personally I perfer disenchanting (ESPECIALLY FOR CATA DROPS) since enchant mats are in demand on pretty much every server. Also, keep in mind that items with high vendor sell prices directly effect auction house fees. The higher the price, the higher the fees. That means, ugly weapons such as "undesireable spiked mace of the bear" should be vendored or filtered out if there is no market for them on your server. Unfortunately, this has to be done manually to my knowledge. Q: Help! My MOP gear isnt selling very well. A: This is by far the absolute worst time to ever sell MOP gear (It is the end of the expac) and the prices for them have taken a steep plummet (But the vendor sale / deposit fees are still high). They have been phased out by easily obtainable crafted gear - which are readily available since nowadays mats are soo cheap. I rarely sell MOP farmed gear anymore. Q: Steve! Things are moving much too slow? Whats going on? A: Farmed gear aren't always as desirable as the things found on the AH. However, there is still a huge market for them. Again, this is THE END of the expac. There is literally 1 month and change left before WOD. Expect slower sales as the WOD prep soars. Q: Will there ever be a spike in sales? A: You bet. With the WOD AH merge there will be more fluctuating gold on single servers than ever recorded. Learning this stuff now, will have a lasting effect as you'll be more than polished when WOD hits.. and will be available to take advantage on the young market. So no worries. If it's going slow, it's only for a bit. The real gold has yet to be made =). Good luck to you all! IMPORTANT Some of you are having big trouble getting the "DBGlobalMarketMedian" value to work in TSM. No worries I have the most common fix (after troubleshooting 10+ cases so far). Here it is... What most people miss is that you also have to check the global box on the TSM "realm setup page". If the global box is not ticked then you won't get any global data in World of Warcraft.. therefore you won't be able to use the pricing source "DBGlobalMarketMedian". Here's how it's done: :) For all of you who can't get the TSM app to work with DBGlobalMarketMedian - please check to see if you have that box ticked. If not, tick it, and lemme know what happens. - Steven
  11. Hi everyone wanted to share a guide here of how I got geared up quickly. Timeless Isle has been out for a long time but a lot of people aren't the most efficient when they just ding 90 so I wanted to share some tips on how to gear as fast as possible. Especially if you are playing an alt you want to get SoO LFR ready as quick as possible. Lets assume you are a fresh 90 just dinged in dread wastes or wherever. Depending on if you want to PVP or PVE it will vary some but lets just say you want to PVE gear first. Steps 1: Grab the quest from shrine to port to Timeless Isle and begin your rare chest farming locations. Download Paste and TomTom from Curse site as these addons are important to help you know the locations of all the chests. Once that is downloaded restart wow and put these cords into the paste addon then hit save and all the tomtom waypoints will show on the map. Paste Addon - http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/paste TomTom- http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/tomtom /way 58.6, 60.3 Gleaming Crane Statue /way 54, 47.2 Drop from hanging ropes /way 49.8, 69.4 Hop across pillars /way 70.6, 81 Climb pirate mast /way 22.6, 58.8 Underwater entrance west /way 40.4, 93 Needs key /way 47, 26.8 Blazing Chest /way 59.9, 31.4 Ordon Lake /way 69.8, 33 Second T3 /way 53.8, 78 First T3 /way 28.2, 31.2 LONG Albatross ride /way 26.6, 65 Short Albatross ride /way 46.6, 32.4 Underground /way 59.2, 49.4 Behind cave-in /way 64.6, 70.2 Gulp Frogs /way 61.6, 88.6 Sunken ship /way 52.8, 63 /way 53, 70.8 /way 49.8, 65.8 /way 60.4, 66.2 /way 65, 75.6 /way 63.8, 59.2 /way 65.6, 47.8 /way 58, 50.8 /way 55.6, 44.4 /way 51.2, 46 /way 46.8, 46.8 /way 47, 53.7 /way 44.2, 65.2 /way 43.6, 84 /way 34.8, 84.4 /way 39.8, 79.6 /way 38.8, 71.6 /way 35.4, 76.4 /way 31, 76.3 /way 26.8, 68.8 /way 22.2, 68 /way 25.7, 45.8 /way 24.8, 53 /way 22.2, 49.2 /way 22.4, 35.4 /way 30.8, 36.4 /way 27.4, 39 /way 25.4, 27 /way 36.6, 34 /way 24.8, 38.8 /way 26, 61.6 /way 29.8, 31.8 coordinates Courtesy of Simca from mmo-champion forums *There is one guaranteed burden of eternity from the blazing chest be sure to save that burden and use it on a ring first as those are usually the hardest to replace* Step 2: Once you opened all the chests you might be blessed and have gotten all the gear slots you need and are already 496 but usually you still have a few pieces to grind out. At this I recommend to grind 12,000 timeless coins which shouldnt take too long depending how much coins you earned just opening all those chests. Now with those 12k coins go to the timeless vendor and exchange 12k coins for 12 mogu coins Mogu Rune of Fate - Currency - World of Warcraft. What this will do is allow you to regular roll + bonus roll for every boss in throne of thunder LFR which drops 502 quality gear. Meaning you have 24 chances at loot! The ques for ToT LFR are pretty fast because everyone is boosted you might run into some noob groups but thats just part of the game nowadays with how LFR is. If you get any 502 gear replace your 496 gear with that and hopefully you'll break 500 ilvl by the end of the 12 bosses. Step 3: Turn in the weekly warforged seal quest for 3 coins (50 lesser charms required) use the bonus roll on Celestials/ Ordos (if available to your alt)/ Sha of Pride in SoO for tier chest/ any LFR boss that drops weapon or tier piece. Step 4: If you can afford it buy the 553 belt from AH first/ run all of SoO LFR and see if you get any tier drops or maybe you'll get the legs from celestials. With how close WoD is I wouldnt spend more than 2k buying a piece because they will be replaced soon in WoD questing. Step 5: Valor cap weekly with Oqueue/ start flex 1 at 520 ilvl with Oqueue/ item upgrade your highest piece of gear Repeat SoO LFR/Celestials until you are 520 ilvl to start doing flex 1-2 with oqueue. *Now if you are into pvping follow the same guidelines above but here is how to get grievous quickly.* 1. ) Do the 7 isle of thunder pvp dailies each reward 75honor and 20g. IF you have a guild banner USE IT BEFORE YOU TURN IN THE QUEST! It will increase the honor gain from 75 to 94 honor per quest turn in! I get 600+ honor everyday from the isle of thunder dailies and they take only a few minutes to do. 2. ) If you are a tank or able to go into tank spec then instant que dungeon spam for justice point farming. With how high item levels go now people are blasting through heroic dungeons in like 5-10 minutes earning you 300-600 justice points per dungeon. Max at your 4000 JP cap then go to stormwind/org and conver that into 2000 honor points! You could potentially do that in one hour depending on how fast your group is and the que times. This is really only viable as a tank or if healer has instant ques in your battlegroup. 3.) Kill the 3 rares in karasarang wilds or form a farming group for them in Oqueue. Each drops 250 honor x3 :) 4. ) BGs of course but if your side loses a lot its not really worth it because then you are only earning like 300-400 honor per 20 minute game
  12. Hello, today I'am telling you how to kill Hexos easy with Honorbuddy.Since I was stuck a long time at this boss and know the frustration, I give away this simple method to kill him with ease. It's common sense for some people, but I got the Idea very late and other people may have use for this. -Requirements: -Honorbuddy -A Combat Routine for your class, which continues the Rotation even on CC(You may test a few out as I did) -Enough braincells to fully concentrate on the labyrinth he spawns -I would say 520+ Gear PvP/PvE with Hit/Expertise Cap What you have to do: 1.Start up Honorbuddy 2.Load the Class Routine matching to your class 3.Choose "Combat Bot" as Bot 4.Start 5.Pass the Labyrinth, while the Bot is making DPS for you. 6.Clap your hands if you feel like room without a roof. Tested Routine's: -Fury Unleashed (Warrior) -Hunter MM Quick and Dirty by Pasterke Have fun trying/succeeding. -Rocca Useful links: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbu...mbat-routines/ (Routines for your class) http://www.askmrrobot.com/ (Best reforge to hitcap with pvp or even pve gear) Ps.: Singular is not working, because Hexos is rooting you in place and Singular is not doing DPS while CC'd
  13. Preparation Technically, the only requirement is that you are level 33 so that you are able enter Scholomance. However, I highly recommend that you are at least level 60 for the following reasons: - You can buy a flying mount which will save a lot of time and if not, you will at least have access to all the flight paths, so travel by foot will be minimal. - You should be able to solo Scholomance. Otherwise, you will have to find a group to do it with. A few tips before you get started: - An addon that navigates you to waypoints is recommended, such as Carbonite, TomTom etc. - Click on the links to see a map of where the book is if the description (in italics) is not enough to help you find the book. - You do not have to read through the entire book, you only have to right click on it and see the first page. - N = north, E = East, S = south and W = West. They will usually refer to a side or corner of the room you're in. - Spend your time flying between locations reading up on the descriptions of the books you're going to find in the next location so that you don't have to keep switching windows. Disclaimer: The time it will take you to find every book will vary depending on how fast you travel around and how fast you can find the book once you arrive. You will not complete it in under 30 minutes if this is your first time. Instead, it will probably take you about 45 minutes to an hour. However, I have timed myself doing the course with artisan flying and have completed it in only 25 minutes on my second try (not including time spent waiting for boat or time spent on the boot, about 4 minutes). Now fly to Booty Bay, set your stopwatch and let's get started! Booty Bay 1. Go to the Salty Tailor Tavern, the building at the south end of Booty Bay with the boat sticking out. Sunwell - The Fall of Quel'Thalas (41, 74) 2nd floor. 2. Get to the room above “Sea Wolf” Mackinley’s room, past the shark, on the right after leaving the inn. Either fly up or go around. The Sentinels and the Long Vigil (42.2, 73.7) On the bedside table 3. Now to Auctioneer Kresky. He’s down two sets of stairs from “Sea Wolf” Mackinley’s room. Empires' Fall, The Twin Empires, Wrath of the Soulflayer (42.1, 73.8). S corner in an empty bookcase The Scourge of Lordaeron (41, 73) W corner in an empty bookcase. Kingdom of Stormwind NOTE: If you did enough quests to have Sentinel Hill on fire, the book in Westfall is phased. You have to go to the one in Thelsamar, Loch Modan (37,47). It can be found on the night stand behind Karm Ironquill who is in the basement near the mining trainer. I suggest getting it after you get the books in Ironforge. 1. Fly to Sentinel Hill and go to in the inn at the SW end of the town. The Last Guardian (52.6, 53.1) NE side on a table between beds. 2. Fly to Duskwood and go in the inn N of the fountain. Kil'jaeden and the Shadow Pact (74, 45) Upstairs in the first room on a desk to the right of the bed The Founding of Quel'Thalas (73.7, 43.1) Upstairs in the second room on a table. 3. Fly to Eastvale Logging Camp in Elwynn Forest. Lethargy of the Orcs (84, 69) SE end of village by marshall haggard, upstairs on table in center of room. 4. Go west to the Tower of Azora. Rise of the Blood Elves (64, 69) Top floor, NW on desk Stormwind City 1. Get to Stormwind and go to the Stormwind Library. It’s in the northeastern end of SW Keep. Enter and turn right. The books are written in anti-clockwise order around the room. The Kaldorei and the Well of Eternity (84, 25) On the pillar to the right of door as you enter Aftermath of the Second War, The Guardians of Tirisfal, The Alliance of Lordaeron (85, 26) S corner on a table The New Horde (86, 25) E corner on a pillar left of Harrison Jones Aegwymm and the Dragon Hunt (85, 23) NE corner left on the central bookcase The War of the Ancients, The World Tree and the Emerald Dream (85, 23) N corner on a table Beyond the Dark Portal (84, 24) W corner on a chair. 2. Go to the Battlemaster Room, SE of King Varian. War of the Spider, The Dark Portal and the Fall of Stormwind (86, 35) Center of room around the map 3. Head to the Mage Quarter, face the stockades, turn left, turn left again past Lisa McKeever and enter the building. Archimonde's Return and the Flight to Kalimdor (51,73) Center of room on table Mount Hyjal and Illidan's Gift (51, 74) Center of room on table. Darnassus 1.Take the boat in SW Harbor to Teldrassil and take the portal into Darnassus. Go to the center building of the 5 buildings on the outer layer of the Trademan’s Terrace. The Betrayer Ascendant (61,74) On the right on a closet just as you enter 2. Now go to the Cenarion enclave and go inside the tree. Exile of the High Elves (39,39) Behind Erion Shadewhisper at the end of the cave. Ironforge 1.Take the boat or hearth back to SW. Then fly to Ironforge or take the Deeprun Tram (it's usually faster, espacially if you don't have artisan flying). Go to the the circular room at the end the Hall of Explorers. Ironforge - the Awakening of the Dwarves, War of the Three Hammers (74, 9) NW on table. 2. Arathor and the Troll Wars (77, 09) NE on table 3. Rise of the Horde, Civil War in the Plaguelands (77, 13) SE on table 4. The Battle of Grim Batol, The Old Gods and the Ordering of Azeroth, Charge of the Dragonflights (75, 10) Center of room on table Scholomace 1. Finally, fly to Scholomance. Go straight ahead into the large room called The Reliquary. The Seven Kingdoms (62, 35) At bottom of stairs on a table after passing through the first Iron Gate and turning left. 2. Icecrown and the Frozen Throne (72, 40) To the right of The Seven Kingdoms, in front of the first big bookcase 3. Sargeras and the Betrayal (84.6, 43.9) NE next a big bookcase 4. Kel'Thuzad and the Forming of the Scourge, The Birth of the Lich King (76.61, 67.80) SE in front of big bookcase 5. The Lich King Triumphant (70.9, 68.7) S next to a big bookcase 6. Go back to the beginning and jump off the bridge. Beware, there are many mobs waiting for you! The Invasion of Draenor (55.7, 41.4) NE of room after jumping down 7. Go up the stairs, go straight and read the final book! Old Hatreds - The Colonization of Kalimdor (31.6,53.3) Just to the left of the doorway, W side of room. CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NEW ACHIEVEMENT!!!
  14. So JP are getting removed in WoD. Currently, there are still Justice Points in the live patch and there are a few ways to get the most out of it. Most means either Gold or Value. The best way to spend those JP is imo in Dalaran. Remeber, the stuff you buy now with JP won't be buyable in WoD. So everything you can buy now, which is "cheap" or even expensive now may be even more expensive in WoD. I recommend buying: Frozen Orb in Dalaran from either Magistrix Lambriesse or Arcanist Ivrenne. 110 Jp per Frozen Orb. So a full cap are 36 Orbs. You can use Frozen Orb to buy different things, i won't go more into it. Just because im busy, do research yourself. (Frozen Orb's won't be buyable in WoD anymore) (I saw wowhead marks them for 75g to buy from vendor for gold instead JP) So if you sell Frozen Orb's which are litterally a mat for the chopper mount, at 70g. You get 2500g from you JP Cap. Seems the best way to make gold with JP.
  15. Hi thee in recently foundation thuis site andere was intrested in the guides people posted, Some are nice some are exploits which ik try tot avond. Right here is my idea tot safelly get some of that gold coins people want. Frist you neem atheïst 4 to 5 level 90's unlock the Sunsong Ranch in Valley of the Four Winds plant only Enigma Seeds, yes the flowers (you guys must think he is crazy). One thing you must have for this method is Alchemy Transmution Master, Inscription and Jewelcrafting, and maybe mening but thats optionele. So what to door without alle these flowers, well those need these proffs or any other toon that doesnt have the farm unlocked yet. You will be getting between 2 to 9 golden lotus from each farm. So the more toons you got the more herbs you wil be getting. So putting it all to use Get some uncommon gems any will door beide blues. Send your golden lotus to your alchemist (preff Transmution Master) Transmute the uncommon gems intocht Rare Onze Send the normal herbs to your scribe and mill everything Turn them into ink turn those into glymphs or what ever you wish to do with them Make shoulder enchants with green colored ink Now dont forget your Jewelcrafter if you safed up a decent ammount of rare gems cut them into what ever you think sells best(I uselly go with the caster healer gems) Mining helps with getting the ore to be prospected. Well this is simple stuff I havend bin op this forum for that long So cut me some slack I dont think I am reposting if so i appoligize Bare in mind that you would want to get all those proffs even Mining it safes the buying of the gold on the action house
  16. Currently there are enchants like mongoose that they haven't adjusted any further during the Beta and Ptr. All other enchants and gems were toned done except for certain on proc enchants! Mongoose for example gives 120 agility and 40 haste while Dancing steel gives 104 agility on proc. While due the RPPM mechanics it won't make alot of a difference, there are other enchants like battlemasters, sunfire/soulfrost etc. that also seem to be better then their counterparts! Due to the current low supply and even lower demand, most of the mats are dirt-cheap and while it may only last 2-3 weeks, you can still make a good chunk of money if you prepare beforehand! Most people don't realise that the enchants from pre-mop are better so there will be an extremely low supply. If you make the people aware of it after the pre-patch hits you can make a really good buck from this ^^
  17. This is best done on a low pop server and is a bit of a dick move... Step 1: Buy all invisibility pots off AH (only were 2 stacks on mine at 79g/stack) on an alt Step 2: Repost at 200g per 5 Step 3: create CM group on main and invite unskilled/unprepared players Step 4: get to dungeon requiring invis and start explaining about when to use pots, those without freak out hearth to buy and say to summon Step 5: they buy overpriced pots because group is waiting/they don't know normal market price. Step 6: complete CM, do some attempts or have an emergency and leave depending on what level douche bag you want to be. I usually try to do the CMs with the group and have actually gotten 2 on gold and 3 on silver doing this and make an easy 2kg from getting them all to buy the pots. I am sure this is common sense to some and obviously requires you to be able to corner the market, this is just a twist where you corner it then create the demand instantly.
  18. A really simple tip/guide for those that afk alot and want to make a buck while doing it. Windwool cloth, as cheap as it is right now can easily profit you around 1-7g a stack by crafting them into cloaks and vendoring those. Crafted Dreadful Gladiator's Cloak of Prowess - Item - World of Warcraft Sells for 17g, 4s, 27c and aslong as you don't spend more then that on the Bolts or Cloth you can make a tidy profit. You can learn to craft the cloak through the usage of your Imperial silk cooldown. If for example a stack of Bolts cost 70g on your server: 17g (4 bolts equals a cloak) * 5 = 85g. The break even point is a little bit over 85s/cloth or 4.25g/bolt, so aslong as you stay below these values when purchasing the cloth, not only will you inflate the economy a bit, but you can make a nice and steady profit while you are at it! If cloth prices are really low on your server, you can even make up to 3-4k an hour with regular cloth postings ^^
  19. Greetings fellow denizens of Azeroth In this guide I shall explain the basics of setting up your Garrison, upgrading it, which buildings should you make and why, how it integrates and affects your leveling, and it's impact on the end game. There will be a TL : DR version of the build order in the end. First let us see why do you even want your Garrison. Why you NEED the Garrison: - to level up, a lot of major quest lines are phased and will not be available to those who haven't set up a Garrison - to gain access to Ashran ( i have leveled 6 characters on the beta by now and haven't found another way to get there ) - to start the Legendary questline at 100 - to collect Apexis Crystals which act as currency for gear and items gained from WoD factions Do note all that I just mentioned can be done from a lvl 1 garrison. If you hate them and don't want to deal with Garrisons you can just complete the introduction and forget about them. What BENEFITS does a Garrison provide: - access to a mine and herb garden that will spawn random Dreanor minerals / herbs each day for you to harvest (no profession required to gather them ) - access to a fishing hut and pet menagerie that offer daily quests - access to a large arsenal of buildings that provide a special bonus to you - access to profession buildings that provide you with the ability to make selected crafts from a specific profession ( all professions, not just the ones you have ) - most buildings provide work orders, which can be used to trade materials for other things ( details for each building can be found in later parts of the guide ) - followers that can run missions for you and reward you all kinds of stuff ( even raid gear ) OK. With that part clear, we can now start with the leveling of both your character and the garrison. What follows is a build order for your garrison that I found to be best for leveling to 100. Do note that the lvl 3 buildings require an achievement to get the blueprints, which are used to unlock them. These are account wide so once you do them your alts will have the prints too, remember though, you will still have to pay the costs for them on your alt. More details about this and a lot of other stuff related to the Garrisons can be found on my blog! :) Build 18950 This guide was originally found on mmo-champ, however I have made some (grammar) corrections and added some of my own insights TABLE OF CONTENT 1. Garrison Leveling 1.1 Garrison Level 1 1.2 Garrison Level 2 1.3 Garrison Level 3 2. Remaining Buildings 2.1 Large Buildings 2.2 Medium Buildings 2.3 Profession Buildings 3. Build Orders 4. Outposts 5. FAQ Section 1. Garrison Leveling 1.1 Garrison Level 1 - Right after the dark portal quest line that gets you to Draenor, you will find yourself in your starting zone ( Frostfire Ridge / Shadowmoon Valley ). The very first quest will get you to begin making a garrison, you will be sent to the garrison area and do a few quick quests to set up your lvl 1 garrison - Your garrison starts with a small tent that acts as town hall, 1 Large, and 1 Small building plot. The next couple of quests will get you a Barracks constructed. If you have a crafting profession you will also find a quest along the way that will give you blueprints for that profession building to place on the small plot. - Construction of each building take 1 hour, with the exception of the starting Barracks and Town Hall upgrades which happen instantly - Once the building is constructed there will be a clickable object in front of it, which you need to click in order to finalize a building. This applies to all buildings except the Town Hall. Every building has 3 levels, each providing a new bonus. - You will also get a quest for your first follower after you make the Barracks Now let's take a look at all the new stuff we learned so far. The Town Hall This is the main building in every garrison. It provides access to the Mission Table (follower missions), Architect's Table (for construction), Apexis Crystal daily quest (at 100), and a Blueprint vendor (building plans). Garrison Resources This is the main currency of your garrison. It is used for constructing and upgrading buildings (that + gold), sending followers on missions, certain work orders, and for purchase of garrison invasion items. It is gained through several ways: as a quest reward, from work orders, from missions, dropped by rare mobs on Draenor, in various treasures across Draenor. There is also a container in your garrison called the Garrison Cache which will gather this currency for free and can be clicked to collect it The Barracks Level 1: Unlocks patrol missions for followers. This just gives you more missions overall. The blueprint is acquired from the starting quest. Contruction cost is 150g and 150 GR ( free for the starting placement ). Level 2: Allows a follower with the Bodyguard trait to accompany you as a guardian in Dreanor zones. Simply send a follower with said trait to ''work'' at your barracks ( this is done via the architect's table, select barracks and click on work spot), then go to the barracks and talk to the follower and click the accompany me option. The blueprint is purchased from vendors. Construction cost is 300g and 900GR. Level 3: Increases your follower limit by 5 and grants access to racial guards and banners. You can now have 25 followers and replace the Horde / Alliance banners with racial ones. Blueprint is purchased from vendors and requires an Achievement to buy. Construction cost is 500g and 1200GR. The Profession Buildings Level 1: Allows the production of profession specific items and work orders. Refer to the building list below for details. Level 2: Allows followers with the respective profession trait to work here, granting a unique bonus. Also allows up to 14 work orders at one time. More work orders, if you place a follower to work here, they will increase the yield of work orders. Level 3: Allows up to 21 work orders at one time. - Each profession building lvl 1 blueprint is learned for free after get your garrison to lvl 2. Construction cost is 150g and 50GR. - Each profession building lvl 2 blueprint is purchasable from blueprint vendors. Construction cost is 300g and 100GR. - Each profession building lvl 3 blueprint is purchasable from blueprint vendors once you get your garrison to lvl 3. Construction cost is 500g an 300GR. If you have a gathering profession on your character, you should build a building that fits it so you can use the materials for work orders. If you don't have Enchanting nor a gathering profession I strongly suggest the Enhanter's Study which will allow you to DE the gear you get while leveling, do note however, that you will get less dust then if you let your alt/friend do the disenchanting. If you do have Enchanting then build a Storehouse for bank access and more work orders. Now that covers lvl 1. If you wish to replace a building you do so by dropping a new one over it at the architect's table. Doing so will lower the lvl 1 construction cost of the new building by 50%. 1.2 Garrison Level 2 - As you quest through the starting zone you will eventually get notified that there is an enemy invasion on your garrison. This will give you the quest to upgrade your garrison to lvl 2. - lvl 2 garrison comes with more plots! you will get: 1 Medium Plot, 1 Small plot. you also unlock access to 4 special building plots for the Mine, Herb garden, the Fishing Shack, and the Pet Menagerie! - Also with the upgrade you instantly learn the lvl 1 blueprints of ALL buildings, with the exception of the Salvage Yard. Here is list of all the buildings split by plot size: Large, Medium, and Small The Lumber Mill Level 1: Allows you to mark small trees in Dreanor for harvest. Harvested Timber can be converted to work orders for garrison supplies. You will get a quest that will reward you with the Find Timber spell. To gather a Timber you right click it and a npc will appear to cut it down. after a few seconds he will tell you that he is done and you will get Timber (amount depends of how big the tree is ). Timber is used for work orders. Blueprint is provided. Construction cost is 150g and 100GR. Level 2: Allows you to mark medium trees for additional Timber. Also you get more work orders. Blueprint is bought off vendors. Construction cost is 300g and 300GR. Level 3: Allows you to mark large trees for even more Timber. MOAR work orders. After you do a few quest you can get a unique follower. Blueprint is bought off vendors and requires an Achievement to buy. Construction cost is 500g and 600GR. Work orders take 4 hours each to complete. Requires 10 Timber. Rewards 20GR. You can place up to 9, 14, 21 work orders at once per building lvl respectively. So why build the mill first? Simple: you need all the GR you can get for later. The mill is one of the two building that will give you GR from work orders. It integrates perfectly into your leveling as it only requires you to gather timber while you quest. Since most buildings are useless till lvl 3, this one fits you the best. A possible alternative is the Barn. The Store House Level 1: Enables access to your personal bank and increases the total number of active work orders for all buildings by 5. More work orders, bank access. The go to building for those who have no gathering professions. Level 2: Enables access to your guild bank. The blueprint is can be bought off vendors and requires an Achievement to unlock. This is the best small building in the long run. However there is only 1 that is better before garrison gets to lvl 3 and that is the Salvage Yard. The Salvage Yard Level 1: Allows Salvage to be occasionally recovered from missions. Every time a mission is completed ( regardless is it success or failure ), you have a chance to get a container which once you open can yield gold, vendor trash, crafting mats. Level 2: Increases your chance at recovering Salvage from missions. In addition, you may now discover follower items in Salvage. The follower items mentioned here upgrade you follower ilvl once they ding 100. Full list in this comment. Level 3: Greatly increases your chance at recovering Salvage from missions. You can place up to 9, 14, 21 work orders at once per building lvl respectively. The Herb Garden Level 1: Grows Draenic Seeds into herbs each day and herbalism nodes are available in the garden. Grows herbs for you to gather each day. Draenic Seed is the herb equivalent of the above mentioned Draenic Stone. The Herb Garden becomes available at lvl 96 from a quest in your garrison. Level 2: Allows followers with the Herbalism trait to work here, granting a unique bonus. Also increases the amount of herbs that can be harvested at the garden and allows up to 14 work orders at one time. MOAR herbs. BUILD ORDERS (LEVELING AND ENDGAME) The goal with each build order is to know in advance what you want to have and when. Avoid replacing buildings often as it wastes a lot of GR that you can't afford to throw like that. When profession buildings are mentioned, they mean one or both of your professions should match them. These build order are the ones that work for me currently on beta, but your own mileage may vary, these are mostly used for achieving maximum power, there are plenty of buildings which award achievements/vanity pets/transmogrifying stuff, so if thats what your after, your own build orders may vary. Raiders Leveling: -small: salvage yard > enchanter's study (without enchanting) >1st profession building -medium: lumber mill -large: barracks End-game: -small: salvage yard >1st profession building > 2nd profession building ---- salvage yard is useful so long as you got followers to gear, once you don't build a 3rd profession building -medium: lumber mill / barn > trading post -------- if you need Gr get LM, otherwise barn rocks for end game items -large: barracks (for followers) -------- 2nd one is hard, bunker can save you money / workshop gives you toys / stables are useful outdoors Gold Making (no alts) Leveling: -small: salvage yard > enchanter's study (without enchanting) >1st profession building -medium: lumber mill -large: barracks End-game: -small: 3 profession buildings ---- just don't make engineering one -medium: lumber mill > trading post ----- the bread and butter of this build, get GR from mill > turn to trade goods > use in prof buildings -medium: trading post > barn ------- if you got 1 or 2 gathering professions, you don't need the mill so much -large: barracks > stables / workshop ---- not much here, just faster stuff out in the world Gold Making (altoholic edition) Leveling: -small: salvage yard > enchanter's study (without enchanting) >1st profession building ------ get alts to 96 at least for garden and mine -medium: lumber mill ----- fill those orders on all alts, every time -large: barracks ----- dem missions End-game: -small: salvage yard >1st profession building > 2nd profession building-------- on your main(s) -small: 2 profession buildings > storehouse------- storehouse so you need to log only once a week on alts (can replace with 3rd prof if you don't mind logging) -medium: lumber mill > barn ------- LM for GR, barn cuz you will be farming! (this is your main ofc) -medium: lumber mill > barn (2prof) > trading post (3prof)------ brackets depend of how many profession building the alt has ( for 2 pretend you're the main!, for 3 make trading post so you don't die from debt to your bank for so much shit in it ) -large: barracks > stables ------- stables on main cuz you will run around -large: barracks > bunker ------- alts aren't going out, so gear those followers!!! 4. OUTPOSTS OK now. Once you make a garrison you get another awesome perk, a special building in all the other zones (starting zones excluded). This awesome building will provide a passive and an active bonus while you are within the zone. Each zone will offer a choice of 2 buildings. You can replace a building for a 10000g fee. You will either have to do a small quest lien before making the building, or right after, to activate it's bonuses. Few very easy quests. So without any further redo, here are all the choices by zone. Shadowmoon Valley / Frostfire Ridge There are no outposts in these zones, but if you have Barracks you get this ability. It summons a few of your garrison guards to fight for you. Nice dmg. 5min cd. Gorgrond Requirements: lvl 92, zone introduction quests need to be done before hand Sparring Arena Passive: You can click on boulders and big rock obstacles to summon one of your gladiators to brake it. Additional gladiators are unlocked as you quest through the zone. Active: You get this ability. It will summon a random gladiator to fight with you for 1 minute. He will count the kills you make while active (via a buff on you). Once he expires he will give you a random buff for 5 minutes. Here are all the possible buffs. 10min CD. Lumber Yard Passive: You can click on vines to summon a shredder to cut them. These appear around treasures just like rocks mentioned above. Active: You can summon a awesome Shredder. He lasts 1min or until killed. Has a spamable attack that hits everyone in a line, a flame jet to blast a frontal cone, and the ability to fly for a short time! This guy does a lot of dmg. 10min CD. Talador Requirements: lvl 94, you get sent from your garrison to Talador base, and you build something right away. The Arcane Sanctum building requires a quest line to activate after you build it. It's not long and has a nice reward in the end. Arcane Sanctum Passive: You get a follower. Active: You get this awesome spell. It summons a cool orb that zaps enemies every 2 sec for 30sec doing solid dmg. 5min CD Arsenal Passive: you unlock a small quest line that will in the end award you with a follower and the same item as the sanctum construction quest. Active: You can call down bombardment! This will mark the target area, and after a short delay an artillery strike will land 3 times! Each hit does dmg and stuns. Max 3 charges of this spell. 3,33min recharge. Spires of Arak Requirements: lvl 96, zone introduction quests need to be done before hand. Brewery Passive: Unlocks a quest line that will reward you with an item that you can trade for a lvl 2 blueprint in Ashran Active: You get this spell. Thank you for reading this, I hope it helps everyone in preparation for WoD :) The info will be upgraded whenever a beta build changes something. 5. FAQ Section Q: Are followers account bound? A: Nop, you have to reacquire them on all characters. Q: Do I need to redo all the achievements for lvl 3 buildings? A: Nop, once done the said blueprint will be available for purchase to all characters. Q: What's the fastest way to get all those achievements? A: Alts are fastest. Build different buildings on alts, do achievements related to those buildings. If you don't have / do alts, fastest way is one by one on main. Tho this way is long and expensive in terms of garrison resources. Q: Why are barracks the best? A: During leveling they will provide additional missions to level up you followers. In the end it will provide you with 5 additional follower slots allowing more missions to be run at once (when you get raid missions this will be good) Q: Lumber Mill vs Barn? A: LM provides you with GR, and is crucial for those who plan to do garrisons without alts (otherwise you'd run out of GR quickly); Barn is better for end game and it should be there for raiders. Trading Post beats LM, so never consider Barn + LM combo. Q: How does an altoholic get most out of their garrison? A: Level a bunch of alts to 92, then you will unlock mine and lvl 2 garrison. Build barracks, LM, 2 profession buildings. Make sure to fill all the LM work orders on all alts. Afterwords rush you main to 100. In main's garrison make trading post + barn, barracks + stables, salvage yard + 2 prof buildings. Next step is getting alts to 96 to unlock herb garden and salvage yard. Keep filling all possible work orders and spam missions. Final part is getting alts to 100. When you do an alts garrison needs to help you with the following getting all lvl 3 blueprints. In the end refer to the above mentioned end game build order for altoholics. :) Q: Salvage yard vs Bunker? A: Salvage Yard is better simply cuz there are far more useful large buildings. It's also cheaper since you need to use GR for bunker work orders. Please note that everything here is based on how it looks on beta, this isn't final and the guide will be updated to reflect future patches
  20. This is a simple exploit that I found and decided to make an account to contribute and stop being a leeching fag. So basically you would want to use this on Warsong for the Xmog Goggles. This exploit basically allows you to use the Engi goggle xmog without actually have the profession anymore. Guide: Drop a profession for a minute like chanting or something. Pick up Engineering and goggles. Go xmog to it to your helm. Drop engineering and get your other profession back. I also tested trying to xmog the goggles without the profession and it doesnt work so this is an exploit. I hope you guy can use this, I personally love the goggles xmog !
  21. Hello all, This is an exploit for Molten WoW, and possibly other 3.3.5 servers (although not tested). It's very simple but can be a huge advantage. 1. You must be a shadow priest. 2. Get on your mount. 3. Make sure you are in shadow form. 4. Use dispersion while on your mount. 5. Cancel shadow form while in dispersion. There you have it. You are now invisible on your own screen but others as well.
  22. Hi everyone ! I will explain how to mount everywhere on land mounts. If you play WoW long enough you prolly have already noticed that you can't mount everywhere and only outside. We can "fix" this in a couple of mins What you need: ------------------ 1. Cheat Engine 2. WoW installed Open WoW and login normally. Now launch Cheat Engine and open WoW from there and then press the "Add address manually" button. Now type the address 00605AF2 make it "Byte" type (one byte). The initial value MUST be 116 or 0x74 in hex. Now you must change the value to 117 or 0x75 in hex to be able to mount everywhere! NO limits! For geeks: ------------ (Technical information only) The value in this case is actually a jump command in assembly. It is initialy a JE and we change it to a JNZ so we actually change the code of WoW and not just a decimal value in memory (variable or constant) so we actually change the behavior of the game this way You need a debugger to find such exploits and i think you can do way cooler stuff this way..like dual wield as a mage, dual wield with a 2h weapon in the main hand, wield weapons without profficiency or level requirement but i still need to look far into the code so i can't promise anything. To start tracing inside the code you need to pay attention at the error messeges and place breakpoint at the corresponding ERR_ constants.
  23. Hello everyone, Dropping off another exploit from molten wow today. This is one where you can gain the improved presence effects from all presences. For example, while in unholy presence, you will have 4% increased healing effects from improved blood presence, and 8% increased stamina from improved frost presence. So what to do. 1. Make your regular pvp spec (unholy most likely) and make sure this spec has the talents for the improved spec you want to be using all the time. 2. Make a second spec that goes deep into the other two talent trees and gets the other 2 presences improved (improved blood and frost). 3. Go into your second spec, activate blood presence, frost presence, and then unholy presence. 4. Switch to your main spec and your are done. You now have all of the 3 effects of improved presences. You DO NOT get the regular frost and blood presence effects such as 15% increased damage, but the effects that are listed in the talent trees. This is working and gives a huge pvp advantage. Also, very few know about this at the moment so don't worry too much about getting caught unless you're telling people you do it. Hope this helps, ~boomkin Edit: mongoloid typos
