  4. Yorick! Guide :p Let's see 1.Introduction 2.Runes 3.Masteries 4.Spells 5.Skills 6.Items 7.Pros-Cons -Introduction- Hello! I apologize for taking so long to update my masteries and give this guide any sort of attention over the last few months. I haven't played LoL for a LONG time due to RL commitments but plan to get back into it very soon. Just wanted to say I really appreciate the support given during my downtime and I will definitely make it up to you guys soon. I am also aware this guide needs more updating then just the masteries and I will get to that during the coming weeks. Keep owning it up with Mr Yorick for me!! Also if you do not like something about the guide can you please leave a comment why you down-voted. I will will understand perfectly if you down-vote for and leave a reason but when I get troll votes it's a bit of a pain as I put tons of effort into this guide for you guys not myself. Hi there guys this is my way of building Yorick which I find pretty damn effective from early-late game. This guide has some inspirations from Elementz guide (which is out of date) but i find that making a few changes works nicely with Yorick. For those who do not know i consider Yorick a great Tanky Dps champion who is viable in any lane but shines with a decent partner or even in mid lane. I am not a high ELO ranked player but I do consider myself an avid Yorick player who knows him back to front if you try this guide yourself you will not be disappointed. I wrote this guide because Mobafire was seriously lacking any decent Yorick guides and since his nerf he seems to be constantly pushed to the side or considered worthless. I want to help the community by showing them how Yorick can still be an excellent champ. I put tons of effort into this guide so please read the whole guide or at least play a few matches before you down vote. If you do not like it please leave a comment with some constructive criticize. -Runes- I have tried different combos of runes including dodge yellows, arpen reds and mana regen blues but I can honestly say these runes have had the most success out of all the combinations. 9 Greater Mark Of Strength 9 Greater Seal Of Resilience 9 Greater Glyph of Shielding 9 Greater Quint Of Strength I choose these over arpen because Yoricks early game harass is amazing based off his ghoul damage which scales with AD. These also make it easier to last hit minions and works well with the rest of your item build. I choose these marks for the same reason I select the Quints. These armor runes will allow you to run in and out of range to harass the enemy with ease and take minimal damage in return. The same reason as the seals basically. MR scales well into late game and is always an effective thing to have. -Masteries- I have had the most success with the first build I have tried many different combinations including more defensive and more offensive but Yoricks early game is seriously lacking without the utility. Since the mastery changes (and my absence from LoL) I have been told utility is not worth investing so many points into anymore. But I tried to keep the new mysteries as similar as possible to what you guys really enjoyed before the mastery changes. Feel free to switch them around or give suggestions in the comments but the same build still applies pre changes. CHANGES! I have provided a second build in my guide focusing heavily on defense and lightly on offence. I have tested this in a few games and it seems to work reasonably well and some players might enjoy it more then my original utility build. Most of the mastery choices are self explanatory and the item build stays the same but if you do want some more info on that build then leave it in the comments. Those who cannot figure out how to view the second mastery page, just click on the yellow arrows above my current tree to switch between them. Defensive tree: Resistance : Stack with glyphs Hardiness : Stack with seals Utility Tree: Summoners Insight : This mastery will improve many spells but it is mainly aimed at improving flash cool down. Expanded Mind : This build is based on regen and harass and this mastery is perfect for it. Good hands Great all round talent for most champions. Quickness : one of my favorite masteries! the movement speed early game is great and you can get in and out to harass easily. Meditation: Mana regen early is vital on Yorick. Runic Affinity: If the Teamates don't mind you taking buffs now and then this talent is great for blue and red which are both very powerful on Yorick. Awareness : This will help you to max E ghoul faster and get ulti and is just a great advantage to have for any champ. Strength of Spirit : max this because it is an amazing talent for Yorick!! Yorick is going to have a very large mana pool thanks to Tear and Manamune and this talent becomes very effective mid-late game. Chuck a Warmogs armor in there and you will have some crazy regen. Intelligence : Allows for more ghoul usage. Mastermind : Another great mastery for bringing the cool down lower on summoner spells. -Spells- -Skills- > = This is the way I usually build Yorick. I then take turns to max out and Before you think WTF there is actually a valid reason I do this, they are both very important skills but neither important enough to take priority over the other during the leveling phase. If you level them equally you will be getting a nice use out of both of them until late game instead of only having a strong E or a strong W these skills work in perfect sync and that is the way I build them. Obviously should be upgraded at the standard available levels which are 6, 11 and 16 if you didn't already know. -Items- Classic Items Depending on your team comp and lane is what these items come down to. If your solo and your going to be offtanking you should grab meki pendant. Manemune is pretty much globally accepted on Yorick and rushing tear is a must. Faerie charm is a good start when duo laning because it grants a similar bonus to meki pendant, but builds into philosopher's stone. Regrowth Pendant should only be used when you have a good a-beep-t of practice with Yorick's early game. It will allow you to passively heal small harassment and save mana for big momments. Tear is used mostly for the laning phase, but rushing manamune never hurts. Philosopher's stone is also a great item for laning, but doesn't build into anything straight damage. Boots of speed are a no brainer. Core Offtank Items This is your core. Your objective is the grab these quickily because once you do you become a very big bully. These will allow you to dominate any lane and just piss your enemies off. This item is just amazing on Yorick. Mana, mana regen, and AD is exactly what you lack early. Manemune solves all these problems with the use of just one item slot. I don't find any boots to be as good as Merc Treads. Even with the buff to tenacity items I usually grab these. They grant you a nice chunk of MR and allow you to move in combat uninterupted. You can trade these for Ninja Tabi or Ionian Boots of Lucidity. Once you have attained this item you will be very bulky. Your lane presence will almost double if you can kite correctly. 2v1 lane should not be an issue after this if you played your cards right. Core Tank Items These are my personal choice when duo laning while fulfilling the role of pure tank. Gold per 5 items make up for the lack of CS in bottom lane. Great for tank Yorick. The speed increase will allow him to gap close even better than usual and it doubles as an escape tool. The health and mana regen are great for laning. The biggest thing about reverie is the CDR and how it effects your support damage. I only really use these when I'm playing support on bottom. The CDR is great for your kit and stacks nicely with reverie. You can rely on Q as your damage with the massive CDR early. This provides health and much needed gold to a support Yorick. Builds into Omen later on and is great for the lane phase. Situational Tanking I love and hate Warmogs. Its great if your doing well and want to keep yourself ahead of the enemy team's damage. If your behind it almost always seals your fate due to you spending to much time on it. Depends on the player, but you can easily find health/defense somewhere else. I find this helps you hold onto people, as well as generate health for Atma's. Great item for your chase game. Omen is a great item because it scales all game. Every item you need for it is good in some way during early-mid game. Small CRD bonus is awesome and the active can increase your kite. CDR, mana, armor, and a great disable. Syncs well with manamune and glacial shroud is a great midgame item. Armor, Crit, and damage based on max health. Taking this item after a major health boost like warmogs is a must. For all the health you bought you'll be recieving bonus damage. Focus on Chain fest first and finish once you have the funds. Awesome item for Magic resist. The speed increase alone is worth a buy on Yorick. Whenever I finally grab this item I always feel like I enter "god mode" status. People won't be able to escape your reach in a chase. This item syncs well with manamune and atma's. The magic resist is nice and the passive allows you to safely initiate. CRD, Health, Magic resist, and a decent passive. If you need magic resist early and your ahead in cash you can buy this with some more laning ahead of you. Extra Damage Great item to finish your offtank build with. Everything you need to be really dangerous and adds another slow to your kite combo. This is the best choice when looking to finish off a build with more damage Trinity is pretty solid buy on Yorick when you have a little CRD. The problem with trinity force, and the reason I stay away from it, is it makes you dependent on your Q for damage. Champions with the potential to kite you will outpoke you, thus losing your biggest advantage. I buy this when the enemy team is mostly melee AD. The damage increase is straight forward and the lifesteal is a great bonus to your sustain. Why against melee AD? Well their damage usually ranges around 200-300 AD and attack speed. Bloodthirster will have you healing overtime while in combat with these baddies. I don't buy this one often, but I enjoy throwing it into my build when I'm playing for fun. CDR is great and the active is pretty boss. -Pros-Cons- Pros: - Can be an amazing farmer with ghouls and nice AD. - Great pusher. - Ultimate can change the outcome of a fight. - Great 1v1 champ - Amazing sustain in lane. - Can be built pretty tanky with only a couple items. - AMAZING harass. - Passive makes him super tanky in team fights. Cons: - Can be Mana starved if you do not build tears/Manamune. - No escape abilities (besides slow ghoul). - W ghoul scales with AP and will basically only be used for the slow late game. - Q is great but only gives movement speed when you hit them. - Ultimate can be buggy and wasted if not used wisely So as you can see Yorick is a great overall champion and has some Cons like most champions. If you play correctly you can have almost flawless games.
  5. Hello ! :) ZILEAN Guide ...i don't think anyone here make a guide with ZILEAN so i Make one ;) 1.Introduction 2.Runes 3.Masteries 4.Spells 5.Skills 6.Items 7.Pros and Cons -Introduction- Hello everyone, I think the name of this buid really sugests what Zilean is all about. That is blowing your enemies to pieces, while also supporting your mates and keeping them and yourself from suffering a painful death. Therefore, I built Zilean on AP. Also, I must say, that while this build allows Zilean to be more like a nuker, than a support, Zilean is still a support champ, and you won't make it too far if you're soloing... Oh, I was about to forget, because Zilean kind of depends on his mates, so you'd better make sure you're playing with skilled team mates... Try to avoid playing with strangers because there are chances they'll be noobs and you'll fail because of them... P.S.: Even though the build was made way before Dominion was even announced, it works well on the new map. I played some Dominion matches with Zil, and even though he may not seem the best choice for this new game mode, he does his job right. You have Crowd Control, Speed Buffs, Are of Effect damage, an awesome ultimate, everything is gonna be fine ! -Runes- he runes I used are all about AP. AP, AP and guess what ? MORE AP ! all about AP and Magic Penetration. They initially were AP only but then a friend sugested that I should get some Magic Penetration too, and guess what ? He was right ! The Runes are: Greater Seal of Potency 9 and Greater Glyph of Potency 9 for Ability Power... Greater Mark of Insight 9 for Magic Penetration... Greater Quintessence of Potency 3 for some more ability power ! Some of you might notice that my rune build has changed a bit from the first version of the guide. The reason is that I think plain AP runes are more useful early-game than AP/lvl, which is very useful when you need to bomb up enemies ! -Masteries- -Spells- When it comes to summoner spells, there is a number of them that would work out well on Zilean, but I think that the best are Clarity and Flash. Here's why: I chose Clarity because Zilean runs out of mana really, really fast. And this problem doesn't show up just early game, like some people say. It affects Zilean the whole match, especially with this build, because you have to spam your abilities in order to survive. Clarity is definetly the best summoner spell to be used with this build ! Trying to replace it with some mana-stacking item just won't do it, I tried, and it's not the same. Then I chose Flash because it's just such a great spell ! There are thousands of ways you can use it, it's great when you try to get away, it's good when you try to ambush someone or catch him. Some people told me to go with Ghost instead, but I think this is better, since Zilean can already dramatically increase his movement speed using Time Warp, therefore eliminating the need of using Ghost. Other Options: In the patch 1.0.0.138( the Hekarim patch ) Time Warp mana cost was reduced to 80 from 100 and the Chronoshift mana cost was reduced to 125/150/175 from 200 at all ranks, which means that replacing Clarity with Ignite or Clairvoyance and taking Greater Seal of Replenishment and Greater Mark or Replenishment is a great and awesome ideea. -Skills- -Items- I chose the items so that you'll have a pretty big a-beep-t of AP while still maintaing a decent a-beep-t of health. It's very important to know that while playing Zilean, you should always try to stay away from the enemy, 'cause that big clock he's carrying around is not really working as an armor ( that means you're killed really easy, if stunned ). Ok, so first, you should get Doran's Ring, it gives 15 AP, 5 Mana Regen per 5 sec., and also 100 HP. Some would've gone with Amplifying Thome, but I think Doran's Ring is a better choice because of it's Mana Regen and HP boost ( you really don't wanna go there with only 466 life ). Then, the next thing I get are the Ionian Boots of Lucidity, you have to buy them second because Zilean is pretty slow, and even though you can use your Flash to get away, you'll need the extra speed to catch that dude and place that last Time Bomb on him. The Enhanced Movement Speed 2 hat the boots give you plus your Time Warp ability should be enough. But what makes these boots really awesome is the cooldown reduction effect which comes in really handy. The third item I usually get is Rod of Ages, because of the much needed HP and AP bonus. It's important that you get this item early so that you can take maximum advantage of it's passive. The next item I usually get is Morello's Evil Tome. It gives you 75 more AP, more mana regen per 5 seconds, and very important, 20% more cooldown reduction, which is awesome, because it stacks with the Ionian Boots, taking away a pretty big portion of your Ability's Cooldowns. At this point of the game, you should probably be able to deal a lot of DMG with your Time Bomb, and also revive your mates with a truckload of health. Still, there is place for improvement. Therefore, I recommend you go for Rabadon's Deathcap, because it gives a stunning a-beep-t of AP, allowing you to litteraly blow your enemies apart with Time Bomb. Now, if the game is still going, go for a Void Staff, because along with AP, it will give you some more Magic Penetration, and at this point, that is what you really need the most. In the end, you should have enough AP and Magic Penetration to be able to do your job pretty well... However, you can sell Doran's Ring and get whatever item you think suits the gameplay situation better ! My recomandation is Zhonya's Hourglass, because it gives alot of AP ( which is necessary, considering the fact that when you buy this, it's late-game already, so the oposing team had time to get some more MR/or life ), some Armor, and it has a really cool active ability which can save your *** in some situations. Oh, on last thing about the items: if you're having trouble with some fat-*** dude with lots and lots of life, you should consider getting Deathfire Grasp early. I know the item may not seem like alot, but it's a tank-shredder ! If the fat dude is not on your lane, you can get it when you see the team-fights are starting to happen, but if the dude is on the same lane as you, try getting it as fast as you can, before Morello's Evil Tome, but after Rod of Ages ( it's important to get Rod of Ages really early because of it's passive and because Zilean really needs that little HP boost ). -Pros and Cons- Pros: - He is a very good support champion; - Capable of dealing a huge a-beep-t of magic damage if you play him right ( that is, if you follow this build :D ); - It's easy to get kills; - Really annoying champ to play against, very good at harrassing; - Really useful in teamfights because it deals huge ***loads of AoE damage; Cons: - Squishy champ; - Can't handle getting ganked; - Very mana hungry champ;

  8. TariC Jungler Table of Contents 1. Introduction 2. Masteries 3. Runes 4. Skills 5.Spells 6. Which Item is viable and why? 7. Jungling 8. Mid Game 9. Late Game -Introduction- So why should Taric Jungle instead of babysitting the bot lane? Because his ganks are aesome. Most Junglers only have slow and very few have a snare but Taric has a stun which is also very long. Ganking is what Jungle Taric is best. He will almost land every gank successfull(if enemy is smart they will play savely and ward brushes around the lane so it may be harder) and if not a Taric gank will easily cost a Flash of the enemy or forces them to go back and makes your teammate win the lane. Pro's -easy to gank with -pressure to lanes because of the stun -gives auras (armor aura from shatter and ad/ap aura from ultimate) -has a heal -aoe damage helps to clear Jungle fast(early game later on shatter deals almost no damage) -good in Teamfights with aura, stun and heal -super tanky Con's -deals not to much damage(compared to other Junglers like Lee Sin or Gankplank) -gets weaker the longer the game goes on -your allies need to pick champions with high damage output Additions coming soon so I make this an good guide and it get aproved. -explain every Item why it is good (done) -become real good with Jungle Taric(means that I will be like playing him a lot in future so I can add Information that are 100% correct and not just theretical) -just become more detailed in every chaptor that isn't very detailed(done in my opinion) -add more chapters if I can think about good chapters (if you have an Idea what topic is missing tell me!)(don't have any idea for other chapters so I say done) -Masteries- *Offense (0) *Defense (21) *Utility (9) -Skills- Passive: Gemcraft Taric loves to socket magical gems into all of his weapons, resulting in his melee attacks replenishing his mana for 7.5% of damage dealt. Explanation: This is why I prefer attack speed over armor pen marks and Witts End. I mean you like always hitting stuff in the Jungle so you get as much out of this passive if you get attack sppeed. Q: Imbue Taric brings forth earthen energy to heal a nearby ally and himself for 100 / 150 / 200 / 250 / 300 (+90% of ability power). If Taric heals only himself, the heal will be 40% more effective. Melee attacks on enemies decrease this spell's cooldown by 2 seconds per hit. Cooldown 20 / 19 / 18 / 17 / 16seconds Cost 70 / 85 / 100 / 115 / 130mana Range 625 Explanation: After the nerf it is still realy good. Your healing yourself realy good and if your in lane just heal the laner after an gank if it is needed. W: Shatter Passive: Taric's gains 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 bonus armor and provides an aura that increases the armor of himself and nearby allies by 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30. Active: Taric deals 100 / 150 / 200 / 250 / 300 (+50% of ability power) magic damage to nearby enemies and decreases their armor by 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 for 4 seconds. The aura portion of his passive is not in effect during the cooldown. Cooldown 16seconds Cost 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90mana Range 400 Explanation: Less damage but also less cooldown it is still realy good. I would shatter as soon as possible after stun becaues of the armor shred. E: Dazzle aric fires a sphere of prismatic light at an enemy, dealing 20 / 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 - 80 / 160 / 240 / 320 / 400 (+100% of ability power) magic damage (lower damage the further the target is), and stunning them for 1 - 2 seconds (higher stun the further the target is). Cooldown 14 / 13 / 12 / 11 / 10seconds Cost 95mana Range 650 Explanation: This gives pressure to all lanes and if you gank it's mostly succesfull (besides enemy champion that like Morgana or Gragas which are realy hard to gank). Stun is just awesome and best for ganking. In teamfights also very usefull! R: Radiance Toggle: Taric emits brilliant light, healing himself for 30 / 40 / 50 (+20% of ability power) a second and increasing his and nearby allies' attack damage by 30 / 60 / 90 (half effect for nearby allied champions). The cost to sustain Radiance increases by 4 / 7 / 10 each second. Cooldown 20seconds Cost 20mana Range 550 Explanation: Now that Taric has only 60 seconds cd on his ultimate you can use it for everything. Pushing a tower, ganking, killing dragon/Nashor(if no teambattle is near then you wanna save it for that), for teamfights, or might even for farming if you are like "Wow there is an huge wave of minions and no one is near but i wanna go back! Farm it quickly and then go back. By the time something you are back to do something you will probably have it ready. But I don't think you should use it for farming that often. Rather give the farm to your carry. -spells- -Which Item is viable and why?- Here I explain which Item is viable and when you might want to go for other Items then you usually do. It gives armor, more damage, life steal, 500 dmg proc on minions/monsters and an free ward. What do you want more? are the boots that are viable. It depends on enemy team which one you want. Heavy CC or heavy magic damage you pick and if not you go for . are not that good in my opinion but they make you fast and that is good for running around between the lanes. if you want gold items. I would rather buy 1 (players preference again) and I like more because it makes you tanky. s also good but I think the HP regeneration isn't needed at all and MP regeneration is nice but not worth buying it. I realy like this Item on Taric. You hit faster so your heal has less CD. It is overall an realy good Item and is espiacially good if you go for If you go for this one and don't build wriggles (I would never build both on Taric because you rather need aura/tank Items than damage) then you won't be less sustainable in the Jungle (your heal is enough) and this one is is you want more damage on the enemy team. If you rather focus on Baron/dragon go for You can also just buy this one after you are full equiped but have 4k gold left then sell wriggles and buy this one for more damage but that will rarely happan. If you have ad bruise top lane, ad carry bot lane then you want this Item. Build this if you are tanky enough and think your team needs more damage. If you play with AP top lane then you should'nt buy this one. Revives you after battle and gives bonus armor and Magic resistance. Should be clear that this one is good. Since you have armor bonus from you rather want to stack HP or MR. Eventhough this Item only gives you HP the movementspeed bonus is super awesome. If you always forgett about active Items start to play every (or more) game with one and try to remind yourself that you have that item! This one is like the best thing for Taric Jungle. You already have armor aura and then you get an Armor/MR/damage aura for your teammates. If you have bought then you are tanky enough for early/mid game and you start to build some damage Items. You get massive HP and a slow on your auto attacks. Really good! If you need more damage I recommend this one over It's good if enemy ad is raping you but is better. Gives Healt/MR. That is what you need and your heals yourself also if you target an teammate so this will help you so much. If you get focussed in Teamfights just heal yourself and it will be so much. You don't need the armor on it so much because you already have so much armor but the aoe slow is insanly good. If you need armor you can get this one over but it isn't better it's situational. So much armor and mana plus it gives the enemy less attack speed. Super good! If you realy get bursted down. o this one is kind of special. I don't think you will get it to often but there are situation where you might say this is the right thing. Example: It's super late game and you enemy has Cho Gath who is destroying yuor team. You want to get but it still takes long to kill him. Then and only then I would use this Item on Taric. I get this one over because it gives you mana and HP and and super important spell block. is also good but I won't list it in this list because I think is better most of the time. I think this and are best MR items on Taric. You have massive HP then you can do this. It's good with Normaly I don't get that much damage on Taric because the auras are better. If you wanna do damage on your own you can buy this. : It's an realy good item but I think this one is more for laning against ap and since you are not laning it's not that good. Don't get me wrong it is an realy good Item but I think other Items are better on Taric. -Jungling- Your Jungle route is the normal Golem, Wolfs, Wraiths, Lizard and small Golems. Not much to say because then you will gank if succesfull buy or r even both and continue. If your gank wasn't succesfull just buy and If you gank the bot lane and gank succesfull that the enemy's retreat or are dead then you should tell your bot lane to help you with dragon. But be carefull in early game then Dragon does quite some damage and if you are low on HP it wouldn't be the smartest thing to die on Dragon. You could also just stay and push/destroy the tower if it is on low HP or your own tower is already destroyed so you catch up with the enemy team. Also if you have huge minion wave I would rather push than dragon. For dragon you may should even tell your mid and if your top is running teleport place a ward so he can come if needed. You could actually level up your and go for an early gank right after golem. Gives you some nice gold and exp. advantage over the enemy Jungle and probably first blood. Would recommend this if the lange are good targets to gank and squishy. Mostlikely it will be the mid lane. One other route that is possible to do is starting at wraiths(smite the blue one) with or hen going to wolves and after that to golems. You will be finished at (don't have the exact number but i will add it later) around 3 mins and then you can gank with level 3. When you go back you buy your early or depending on which you started. This is actually realy strong because you will gank earlier than expected and get early GP5 which makes you way more rich. -Mid Game- You should be ganking as much as possible if there are still people on their lanes. If not then just run around with your team give Buffs to who ever needs them try to kill dragon and if you see a good chance(are far ahead and enemy is totaly weak/not near baron) you could try baron. Baron could be risky though because he does quite some damage. Also if you think your enemy is able to kill baron faster then you can kill dragon and run to them then don't kill dragon if they have vision on you. Getting an oracle would be smart if you don't have one(of course if you don't die often). -Late Game- Stick with your team! Very Important you are not a split pusher you are important for your team. If nothing to do or you just don't know what to do then just clear jungle and get buffs. Buffs are realy strong don't forget them. Red buff should be given to ad carry or the top laner and blue buff to the ap carry.(you probably already know that but just if someone doesn't know) Gredits :Me and League of Legends photos ...and i Already post this solomid Forum :) have a niCe day and good Jungle and Ganging ...:)
