Windows server 2008?

Hi all.I just became a member of mc and i wanna ask i need start my own l2 off server so my question is

i have windows 7 so i must download the windows server 2008 r2 install and start creating?

you have to download the Windows Server 2003 is the most used but I see no difference between 2008 and 2003 the only serious the core, the 2003 has the core of XP and 2008 has the Win7.

read any of the 500 topics in the help section about 2008 and you will soon see there are major differences between 2003 and 2008.

If you have the right extender there is not much difference between windows 2003/2008. If you have vampires extender you must use windows 2003.

L2off is very unstable on windows server 2008. But if you want, test it xP

Windows Server 2003 64bit should always be used for L2OFF extender, trying to use 2008 will give you a lot of headaches, server crashes and poor performance even if you do modify it so loads.
