[Help]Can i restore my pc via BIOS?

One friend has a problem with his pc. When he restarted his pc, one error appeared with a black screen. "the windows has found a problem in system". He tried to restore his pc by the "System Restore" but he cannot run it. So he is asking if he can restore the system from BIOS.

If it is OS Porblem, and you get Black/Blue screen, then no

 

if is Hardware problem , possible you can, but you change smthing in bios before get error?

 

it is posible get blue screen if yu make wrong config in bios, like changing HD Type..
