The problem is one and only.

 

Why any admin to put his server on your toplist? What has a server to gain from this? Right now: Nothing.

Why? Because there are no new players who will visit your site to find a new server to play. You only traffic is and will be your vote sources, aka the servers registered. And believe me, none of the voter players will check the other servers and in case they leave some server won't try your website because they don't know it.

 

This is why HopZone succeded. Hopzone.net has its forums which are pretty active. It has a community, its not an empty, cold toplist.

 

If for example, maxcheaters made a toplist, it would have better success than Hopzone coz MxC has bigger community.

 

In other words, advertise your toplist to possible players, not possible servers! Server do not want traffic from votes, want traffic from people who seek for a new home.
