Freyr Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 I'm not sure whether the problem is with my monitor or not. When I'm using my computer , the screen will suddenly go black. The green light is still on, and I can shut the monitor off and on, but it just goes from black to very black. I can hear my CPU- it appears to still be on, and I was connected to the internet via telephone line and when I picked up my phone, I heard the screeching that indicates the computer is still connected to the internet. So, that leads me to believe that the problem is not with the 5-year-old monitor.
